Salon Furniture & Design is the brainchild of salon equipment guru Mike Cooper.
Spending 20 years as an equipment manager for three of the UK’s leading hairdressing suppliers,
there is nothing about salon furniture and interiors Mike doesn’t know.
His extensive knowledge of furniture functionality and salon design has helped many salon owners
create interiors that are both aesthetically pleasing, user friendly and practical.
In establishing his own company Mike is able to offer this wealth or knowledge and experience to a
broader range of hair and beauty salon owners. Mike explains, “Working for a wholesaler I was
always restricted to one range of furniture, and often only a few key items from the range. This
meant that I often had to compromise on the equipment packages or they would have to buy some
pieces elsewhere. It was so frustrating. ”

salon design skills, means Mike is able to tailor equipment packages exactly to the customer’s needs.
