2018 was the year of the fashion faux pas...but not the type you're thinking about. Several brands were called out for all kinds of missteps, mainly around cultural appropriation.
We think that a celebration of different cultures, design and heritage by people around the world is wonderful. BUT we believe that acknowledging the origins by involving the heritage keepers, having representative ambassadors and giving back to the communities that gave you the insipiration are es...sential. Otherwise, hands off.
