This garlic lovefest is an old favorite for the people of the Provence region of France. Hand-made garlic mayonnaise is served as a wonderfully pungent accompaniment to platters of poached fish and a variety of seasonal vegetables. This year we’re cooking cuttlefish and salt cod in Rosé wine, ready to dab in aïoli with cauliflower, pink for potatoes. Green beans, bulls heart tomatoes, radi...shes & boiled eggs. 🍅 Veal & Pork Stuffed Tomatoes - back on the menu from this week. Apparently these things have a bad rep, a bit @70sdinnerparty perhaps - well no one told us. We make ours like they do down south in the Med, using the best tennis 🎾 ball size tomatoes and stuffing with a mix of veal, chicken livers and pork. 🥩 Sometimes you just can’t beat a decent steak that’s cooked well. We buy our beef from @swaledalefoods or @hgwalter and on Mondays we grill cuts of ‘Onglet’ (often referred to as ‘Butchers’ steak as it’s prized for its flavour) over our wood 🔥 and serve w a sauce and side of chips for fifteen pounds each.
