Been a beer is easy,, but been efes is hard.. is also the same been restaurant is easy but been Sark meze grill is perfection

We’ve been 5 tines now and once for a birthday

Food is great the people that work and run it are always helpful and welcoming

The costs are very acceptable as well

Walked past a few days before opening and were seen by the owner looking in the window, he came and invited us in to look around, he told us it was opening up as a family concern. There was staff training going on and the food being prepared looked great, we left promising to come back and give it a try which we did yesterday and I have to say it was fantastic. We visit Turkey regularly and eat at Turkish restaurants often, my Partner says this is the best food he has eaten outside of the country. The portions are very generous and the service is excellent, we will be back!

Our first visit, really lovely food, reasonable pricing, attentive friendly staff and a real authentic feel which made us dream of our holidays. We shall definitely be back, Thank you!

Lovely authentic restaurant, fantastic atmosphere, great choice of dishes, all very generous portions, staff very welcoming and accommodating, all at a very reasonable price, will be back very soon! Highly recommend you try this restaurant, you will not be disappointed whatsoever!

Looking for a restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary we chose and booked a table at Sark. Thank goodness we had booked as all tables were occupied as already this new restaurant has made its mark in Maldon and is very popular.



The food was outstanding with very generous portions of authentic Turkish cuisine. The sharing platter hot meze was superb, followed by an amazing chicken ezmeli kebab for me and combination kebab (lamb shish, adana kofte and chicken shish) for him. Served with a super fresh salad, rice and hot traditional bread, wow.



The staff were very polite and attentive. It was such a family feel and totally what we prefer. Well done to Lufti and all the family and team, you have really made a wonderful change to The restaurant choices in Maldon.



See you soon and that's a promise

Just had an absolutely delicious meal here with some of my family. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends.

I have to admit the quality of food was amazing, the staff was extremely helpful, courteous and more importantly friendly. We too felt it was slightly tight but this was a good sign as a busy restaurant means foods always fresh. We would most definitely be coming more often to enjoy a authentic Turkish Menu.

Had a great evening last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary with friends. Spotlessly clean, friendly atmosphere and staff. Can also see directly into the kitchen and watch food being prepared and cooked. All the food we had was delicious, could not fault anything, and huge portions at very reasonable prices. We will most certainly come again and recommend to friends and family. It's also great to know that you can buy the delicious food as take away as well.

HI SAMI and team, thank you very much for the meal last night, it was fantastic and the service was top notch. We will be back. Could i ask for the chicken marinade recipe please?

Eaten here a couple of times now and really can’t fault the Sark experience! Swift, efficient and friendly service, with authentic fresh food... and plenty of it; the servings being quite generous.

Would suggest that you always book a table as they’re understandably busy, we were here on a Thursday at six-thirty and within half an hour the restaurant was full.

Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Delicious food, calamari was very nice and the chicken and lamb kebabs where very moist and delicious, very generous portion sizes so took half away with us. The restaurant is nicely decorated and was nice to see in to the kitchen from your table to see the food being prepared.

Staff very friendly and will help you decide if your unsure on what to order.



Very nice addition to maldon, will definetly return!

Booked for wedding anniversary and was very busy for a Tuesday night so glad I did. Tables bit squished in but nice atmosphere and polite and pleasant service. Food was lovely and they give big portions. Overall great night

Ate there last night, and a couple of weeks ago, portions generous, service excellent and an intersting variety of dishes. We will be returning and happy to recommend.

TOP TIP: book early, lots of people being turned away and that was on a Wednesday night as it was packed.

Ate here for the first time today, have heard good things about this restaurant and I wasn't disappointed. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back to sample more of your delicious food.

Amazing food!!! Cannot recommend this place enough food is authentic prepared fresh and delicious. Staff are lovely and cannot do enough for you. Yes it’s busy so make sure you book

After hearing so many amazing reviews I had to try this place out and I was certainly not disappointed! The food is cooked beautifully with a lovely choice of many different dishes to try. It was lovely to see the food prepared and cooked fresh & you could definitely taste it was good quality too. Staff were brilliant, I celebrated my birthday and they sang me a song and were all lovely and cheerful. Will be carrying on the recommendations and bringing all my friends along too! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

After a long hot day I have been transported back to my favourite place - Turunc, Turkey.

The food is exceptional, an Efes draft and an ice cold rice pudding to finish - just about perfect - (Shame my better half wasn’t here)

After 4 visits I’m still loving this place great service, really good food and always a good atmosphere.

5th visit look likely this week.

You could never get fed up of the menu I’ve still got loads of dishes to try.

Great work guys and a great addition to Maldon.
