We visited the old premises about a year ago and loved it so were so disappointed when we heard it was closing. Finding the new premises today was brilliant. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. The vegetarian and vegan options are brilliant as is the iced soya milk coffee. A huge well done to the team. We had a lovely meal.

This is our favourite place in Hertford for enjoying a quiet cup of tea with my friends, snatching time with my husband, indulging with my sister or enjoying a milkshake with my fab children. I have memories of tea with my mum here and the place has soul. Its so much more than a coffee shop and the service is always incredible

Nice friendly staff and nice place to eat and drink.

Myself and three friends went here on the morning of my wedding. We didn't have lots of time but thankfully service was quick as well as friendly.

We had three eggs benedict, and one eggs royale-they were all lovely, and very filling.

My favourite place. Love the atmosphere, colours and design.

Love this little gem of an independent cafe. Quirky with great food and service with a 😊. Hope the closure of Waitrose does not have an adverse affect on this small business.

Just theeee lovliest independant coffee shop - e'thing is totally fresh and tastes delicious + staff just couldn't be nicer...always my FIRST choice because of all I've said BUT businesses like this are far better than the well known chains and need to be valued and embraced. Well done to them.

I absolutely love this place. The food is always freshly prepared and is divine. So much choice as well so you won't have a problem finding something you like! The milkshakes and fresh orange juice is an added bonus! Great to support a local and friendly Hertford cafe!

Carla and her team at SerendipityFoods catered for a special birthday party for me last Saturday and my 100 guests (a mix of adults, kids and special dietary requirements). The food was amazing and so it was the attention to detail. Carla spent time with me ahead of the event ensuring that all was taken into account, making it so easy and stress free for me on the day. Guests were impressed and that has also made my day!

It is yummy and well presented food at an exceptional value for money/quality. I would strongly recommend Serendipity Catering Services for any type of events you are planning ahead.

food was nice but a little bit too pricey for me. nice staff and good location . eould come back when i have a few extra pennies ��

Was not to bad apart from if your eating food you don't want people feeding pigeons on the tables

I am gutted to write this, but the experience we had today just wasn’t what it used to be.

The tables are so cramped in, didn’t feel comfortable at all. I know it was always small but it used to be bearable.

Half the breakfast selection seemed to have disappeared , no salmon anymore ( replaced with a piece of ham) pieces of bread instead of lovely bagels.

Asked for a smoothie which is on the menu but I know for a fact they haven’t served in about 18 months, just put a black line through in on the menu!?! Instead of every time me thinking that your stocking it again...

and payment , typing card details in on an iPad and having to take my postcode... never seen anything like it.

The food was fine but all these things really took the sparkle off a place that I used to love visiting, won’t be in a rush to return, sorry.

Ridiculous for what we had also sad to say but not worth half of what we paid,food was over priced
