Another call out to a boiler with electrical fault after some works had been carried out below the boiler.
As you can see the in photo one of the cables have popped out in the wiring box. Had the cables been clipped and the cable clamps within the box been fitted, then this most likely would not of happed.
... Having looked to check connections in the boiler I notice that the pump had not been wired so the boiler controls the pump to allow it to cool down and disperse heat.
I ask the client if the boiler had been cutting out and needed to be reset, they said it had been and were happy to have the issue finally sorted out.

Had a trip back to London for a client I did An AV installation for a about 5-6 years ago.
The original installation consisted of Two 32” B&O wall hung Tv’s Both with sky and blu-Ray
... One 105” LG wall hung led Tv With Celing mounted directional speakers Subwoofer Denon AV AMP Denon Blu-Ray Logitech harmony remote and hub ( these are a very cost affective way to control your system with one remote or via phone/tablet)
Also had 5 sonos amps and bridge Attached to 11 celing mounted speakers. Also at the time I built a music server that could store 1000s of cds.
My visit was to replace the Denon Blu-Ray and programme the replacement on into the Logitech harmony remote and attach the IR repeater.
I also made sure all equipment had there software updates and gave them a good hover to make sure the stay cool.

Called out to a boiler with no power. The customer also said that prior to that it also has not been suppling hot water.
After 30min of fault find I found a lose connection elsewhere in the house. Once up and running I found that the hot water switch was not making inside the boiler due to a bad diaphragm .
Quick run to get the part and the boiler fully operational. as always advised the client to have the boiler serviced 👍
... The client also wanted a basic wireless room thermostat witch I was also able to do the same day.

Carrying out an EICR ( electrical installation condition report ) in a commercial property for new tenants. Very neat and expensive installation but..... it’s not labelled! so before we can test we are tracing, verify and labelling 4x distribution boards and over 60 circuits🏃‍♂️

Upgraded an old square edge socket to a new USB socket with clean lines. Finished of with a test of the circuit and an RCD test to make shall all is safe 👍
