We have over 30 years of sport and fitness coaching experience and we are still committed to developing our knowledge. We know what works but we also refine our approach by identifying new ideas to continually enhance what we offer.

When you train with us we complete a comprehensive set of assessments that allow us to create a training programme and nutrition plan that’s tailored to your needs. This includes a full health, lifestyle and body composition assessment as well as blood and food intolerance tests, which we do with a trusted biochemical testing partner. Each of our clients is unique and that’s why we treat you like an individual. When you train with us you’ll get workout programmes and nutrition advice that is specific to you. The way we motivate and coach you will also be tailored to who you are and what you need in order to achieve your goals.

The combination of experience and continued learning ensures that you receive the benefits of our substantial real world knowledge delivered with fresh ideas and cutting-edge training methods.

One of the things our clients value most is the rapport and support that they get when they train with us. We prioritise your long-term health and wellbeing over fads and short term changes that don’t last.

We care about what we do and we care about you, which means our clients leave sessions feeling great and feeling empowered.

Strength Is a Choice!
Not always an easy one, because it usually requires doing something difficult that one can’t do easily; but that is precisely the point. Strength, by definition, requires the use of force. Sometimes that is an external force, and sometimes it’s experienced internally.
In reality, it always starts internally. It starts with the mind.

There's a long list of foods you may think are off limits. And they range from the indulgent—wine, chocolate—to recently trending culprits, like fruit. You may even skip eating certain veggies if you think some are less healthy than others. Happily, you don't have to stop eating these seven delicious and healthy options that have gotten a bit of a bad reputation. They can be nutritious, decrease your risk of chronic diseases, save you time and money, and boost your overall satisfaction. Now those are foods we can get behind.

The hustle of the holidays is behind you, and the New Year thrills with the promise of a fresh start. Whether you overindulged during the holidays or not, you may be entering the New Year with the goal to lose weight, exercise more, or simply restore healthy habits that fell by the wayside amid the holiday feasts and cookie exchanges.

A symphony of factors control hunger, fullness, and ultimately our weight, including everything from how well you slept last night to the accounts you follow on Instagram. Also involved in the complex process are hormones, particularly the two that are often referred to as hunger hormones, leptin and ghrelin.

As daylight hours decrease and temperatures start to cool down, we’re more susceptible to seasonal affective disorder (SAD), a form of depression related to a change in seasons. Its main cause is that change in light, which affects our levels of melatonin and circadian rhythm (sleep cycle) as well as our levels of mood-regulating neurotransmitter serotonin. These changes can also affect levels of stress hormone cortisol.

If you weren't already a fan of snack dinner, this just might make you one: A team of researchers have been looking at the long-term effects of eating cheese, and discovered that eating it regularly (in small amounts) it could actually help prevent heart disease.
