Shaolin Culture - Shaolin Kung Fu & Chen Style Tai Chi School Description

Shaolin Culture is a traditional martial arts and tai chi school teaching techniques that gives students the ability to discover the true essence of kung fu and tai chi for themselves. Students are guided with clear step by step instructions from our teacher Shifu Yang a 34th generation Shaolin Temple disciple of the Abbot Shi Yongxin. With Shaolin Culture, you take a journey that will awaken in you a mastery of even the most challenging forms of shaolin kung fu and tai chi for health, fitness and self defence.

Shaolin Culture cultivates traditional forms of Shaolin Kung Fu and Chen Style Tai Chi into our classes. We also offer classes in Weapons, Shanshou and Qi Gong for all ages and genders. Shaolin Culture finds that space between effort and effortlessness. The Chinese culture becomes understandable and attainable. Movements are simple and direct. Practice is safe and effective. Through Shaolin Culture you will experience many important aspects of Zen philosophy applicable with today's modern life.

ANNOUNCEMENT!
Hello everyone, We are delighted to inform you that Shifu Yang will be hosting a foundation Tai Chi workshop on Sunday 11th November at Tang Long Centre, Golders Green. It will be absolutely great for all of you wanting to expand your learning with us and for Shifu will teach you all the movements in details with you, covering - stances, posture, balance and energy release (Fa Jing) plus 18 part form. Please bring with you a note book and pen to write down all... this information that you will be learning with Shifu Yang. The workshop will be from 8.30 - 12.30. Booking in advance is essential and the cost is £80/Senior citizens £50. If you are interested in this workshop then please contact Shifu Yang or email us directly for more details.
CHRISTMAS PARTY This year we will be celebrated with our sister school Tang Long and would like to invite all our students and friends to come along to our joint event. The event will be held at Cafe Rouge, Hampstead, NW3 on Saturday 1st December from 7-11pm. Karen from Tang Long has kindly send me the menu and I will be happy to send to you on request - it will be £50 per head which includes, a glass of bubbles or soft drink on arrival and a 3 course meal with a glass of wine or soft drink included. There will also be entertainment and music to help lift the festive mood and a chance to socialise with each other! If you are interesting in coming along then please do book your place by no later than 18th November.

CLASS CHANGES OVER SUMMER
This evening will be our last class in Islington until our return from China with our students. We will REOPEN on 6th September 2018.
Saturday Tai Chi classes will remain OPEN over the summer from 12 - 1pm with Shifu Sandra, but all Kung fu classes will be CLOSED until our return on 8th September 2018 in Bromley South.
