Went with the missus to Shorne Woods to ride our Brompton bikes. The routes were great, even with our thin little wheels. I enjoyed the various ride up and down through the trees. Afterwards we visited the shop and had a cool drink and something to eat. It was packed with families with young kids and couples with dogs, which was great.

User

Walked around some of the trails and saw lots of areas I’ve never been to before. Lovely lunch in the cafe too - I never stop enjoying this Park 👍😊

User

Took my 4 year to the Pond Dipping & Mini Beast adventure yesterday and I'm not sure who had more fun! The host was great and very informative and interactive with the children. Afterwoods lunch in the cafe and then off to play in the park - even the rain didn't put us off. Great day out for everyone.

User

Today we celebrated my sons 4th birthday with a Den Building party at Shorne Woods. It was an amazing, interactive experience and all the kids loved it (ages ranging 3yrs to 10yrs). The staff were superb right from booking through to the party. We were all very pleased with how the day went.

User

Superb country park with something for literally everyone... can't really fault It!!

User

It's lovely here with a nice play area for the kids. Yesterday we did the trail, but with a few injuries on the way, it took a bit longer than expected. We got back to the shop after it had closed and were unsure what to do with our clip boards a lovely lady Ella, was just leaving and kindly went back in for us and also gave the kids their prizes! Thank you so much!

User

I had ridden through the park a few times and decided to explore with my dogs on foot. Nice big car park, good cafe, once we got away from the dogs on leads area my two were loving it, quite muddy but it is December, lots of amazing trees, interesting paths, well marked trails and wonderful views in places. My water loving terrier was disappointed that the lake was frozen, I was quite glad! We walked about 4 miles on a cold but bright day and it was great. I am happy to pay £2 to park as it helps maintain this beautiful area. Highly recommended.

User

I absolutely love shorne country park grew up going there as a child with my father taking me every weekend even before it was a country park .lots of memories been had there. great for children of all ages plenty to do there take a pack lunch with you and just let the kids run wild and burn off that energy. There are lakes there to if you fancy a spot of fishing. Great walks inter locking jeskyns and Cobham hall mosolium.

User

Having heard how good the park was we took the dogs yesterday to explore.

Well sign posted from the road to a big car park. £2 for week day parking is a lot cheaper than neighbouring Essex.

Really nice visitor centre has pamphlets which includes a map of the park and various walks. All terrain mobility scooters are available for disabled visitors (conditions apply). These were highly recommend by those we met using them. My friends partner is disabled and would love to come with us.

We took the "blue" route which basically runs around the circumference of the park. Probably not the easiest. End of January in wet weather it was challenging. Some tracks were very steep and there was a lot of mud. Fortunately we had come prepared so thoroughly enjoyed our walk.

Two things for concern if you have dogs. At one point this track runs very close to the A2. We kept the dogs on leads at this point. As you near the end of the walk the path meets a local road and runs along the verge. This part is not fenced so again dogs need to go back on leads early.

We stopped back at the visitots centre and sat outside the café area with the dogs for, well earned, hot chocolate and bacon sarnies. Staff at the centre were really friendly and helpful. We asked if there was a hose available to get some of the mud off the dogs feet before putting them in the car (quite often is in popular mountain bike trails) sadly someone stole it.

Can't wait to go again in better weather.

User

Had a lovely walk through the woods with my 2 and 7 year old. As a few people have said the path signs could be a little clearer but it all just added to the fun of exploring (if we had actually got lost that might have been different). Cafe wasnt too badly priced but we only bought drinks so can't comment on the price of food. The kids were so tired after the long walk that we didn't get chance to play in the play area but we'll do that next time as we'll definitely be back!

User

Great place for an enjoyable country walk and brilliant for dogs. All day parking at weekends and Bank holidays £3 . Nice cafe and loads of play areas for the kids. Beautifully clean and well maintained large areas of natural beauty

User

Fantastic country park, with lots to do from fun activities like leap frog and hurdles to a nice nature walk through the woods me and my girls really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back soon :-)

User

Excellent country park, lovely trails, great play area. Nice shop, cafe and ice cream bar.

My dog loves the dog swimming pool!

I paid my parking in the shop last time as I had no change and I got a parking ticket though! I am however appealing it as they should still have the records to show I paid. So in future I will always use the machine for a ticket.

User

A great place to walk the dogs, with plenty of facilities for everyone of all ages. We always have a drink and snack in the cafe which has a varied selection of hot and cold food and drink. It can get quite muddy during the winter, but it is a woodland park, you just need the right footwear.

User

1st trip with all of us today. Both children absolutely loved the activity trail (Ages 3 and 6). Lovely play area and walks. Definatley returning.

User

1st time I have been but it won;t be the last... What a nice place to walk with your dog & so much for the grandchildren to do... Was impressed that there were so many dog bins about but can't understand why some walk away :(

User

Was introduce to this lovely part of Kent, by my Elder Bruv & SisterInLaw. What's not to love..? Just needs a Cockney Pie&Mash shop and it will be 5 ✨

User

It is a really nice park and nice and green but the day we went to celebrate Mason Kent 1st birthday in the park it rained typical British summertime lol to be fair we lasted quite a while outside but it was a relief when the cafe let us finish the party in there they didn't have to so special thanks to the cafe I didn't get to explore much because of the weather so would definitely come back when it's sunny lol.

User

Went yesterday but only in there around 20 mins because of the mud everywhere even on paths I had to leave I had my dog and my car so had to clean my dog before he got in. I know you can’t stop the eminents. But at least clean the paths.
