We loved it. 8 of us travelled from Somerset and cannot wait for next year. Personally we enjoyed the gaps between artists. We had great weather and it gave us a good chance for toilet breaks, food, drinks etc as well as time to rest our legs in the sun and enjoy the festival atmosphere. Some people are complaining that acts didnt perform many songs... they all performed their biggest hits, its not the event organisers fault of some acts only had 2 or 3 hits When are next years tickets going on sale?

User

Travelled down from Leeds! Had a fab day! Yes, granted the drinks were a little expensive for a can but no different to what I or my friends would have expected at that type of event. Would recommend it to anyone, we had a ball! Excited for next year!!

User

The lineup on this festival is always incredible! I came last year, the atmosphere is great and everything is nicely organised.

User

Really great experience with some fantastic bands

User

Only went as my family had come from Scotland & I wanted to show them a good local day/night out. Weather was great, atmosphere was great & we Had a great time also was happily drunk. Yes the price of a drink was higher than the local working mans club, but no more expensive than ANY festival that I have been to before & was happy to pay the price. I will attend next year too.

User

Me and my 2 friends came from nottingham for this and we absolutely loved it. We are already planning for coming for the whole weekend next year.

Yeah drinks and food was expensive but that's what you get from a festival. Next year maybe supply more alcohol to. Deffo be back next year

User

I came with my daughter and we had a fantastic time. Line up was brilliant, hope you have more of the 80s/90s groups next year - not any of the current groups.

I have read some of the reviews and cannot believe that people are moaning about the intervals between the acts and the artists that are up and coming taking up the space - where else do they get to show what they are capable of or get experience if not at a festival. NTAF definitely got this right and MUST bring back Ministry of Cheese next year and Neil Fox.

Prices for drink and food were actually reasonably priced for a festival despite people moaning about being costly - my advice is go to a Bon Jovi concert then you won't moan about the prices here!!

I only have 2 negatives

1) I had a disabled person in a wheelchair next to me in VIP and he had trouble seeing the stage despite being right at the front - I kept moving aside so that he could see the stage and acts (especially during Blue as he loves them). NTAF as someone who also has a family member in a wheelchair I think you need a designated wheelchair area for the disabled person and a carer in front of the VIP area so they get to see the stage clearly.

2) When leaving in my car I needed to turn right onto Rainham Road North but they were only allowing us to turn left which I don't think was fair, I can understand coming in but as you had staff out their stopping traffic so we could come out I don't see why we weren't allowed. Hopefully next year you will change this so that we can get home without having to find somewhere safe to do u turn.

NTAF thanks for a fabulous day and looking forward to next year already!!

User

Had a great weekend overall. Friday was absolutely brilliant. Saturday was a bit slow paced at time with support acts ive never heard off. 911 came on and got the party going again. Obv there was going to b queues but was managed brilliantly and didnt wait long. I found all staff to b welcoming and friendly. Only moan is the price of drinks!! Will b back next year!!

User

Had a fantastic time last night.thank you so much.Felt so safe with the security checks.staff are lovely helping a young girl in a wheelchair by taking her & putting her in VIP so she could see!only down side was the wait in between acts.maybe next year we could have times of acts on so you can plan toilet/food breaks.i would of liked to of gone and looked at the stalls.but didn't want to miss the acts.also maybe a place of pick up for taxis as we got a little lost coming out! Just suggestions! But have already booked r&b Sunday next year! Well done for a great event brought back amazing childhood memories

Thank you

User

Had a brilliant time loved the line up And Neil fox was a brilliant host!!

Just want to make a coupe of points because I think there are a lot of people that don't know what a festival is... firstly it's over the whole day so you will get intervals in between acts.

The food places are independent which means any prices for food was set by them and all sales of food they kept the money which is fair, at the end of the day that's their business we should be supporting our local businesses!

People are saying about how over priced the drinks were, they were actually cheaper than other festivals! If you know you are going to a festival or an all day event put some money aside so you can enjoy yourself every festival is the same you know you are attending it some people buy tickets a year in advance so I don't understand how people moan about prices?-it's once a year?

The price of the tickets were good value for money it was such a good atmosphere you had family's and kids enjoying themselves, there was no trouble, it's nice there is a festival in Dagenham, it's good advertisement because lets face it doesn't have the best reputation from people outside the area!

Have to say all the bar staff, security, police, litter pickers were all lovely and did such a good job!!! Can't wait to buy my ticket for next year!!!

User

Been to every festival so far. Excellent artists. Had to make a few changes with our tickets and it was done immediately with no issue. Highly recommended if you fancy a fab day/night out. Love that my daughter can attend on the Saturday too

User

Amazing customer service. Needed to swap tickets from the Friday night to the Saturday night as i couldn't make it, messaged the organisers on facebook, they gave me a contact number, i spoke to them and was able to swap without a problem.

User

Absolutely loved the atmosphere, bands, friendly staff and facilities in the VIP area. Definitely want to come again. I was not put off by the cost of food and drink, £5 for a pint or a short was in my eyes responsible at an event plus I wasn't looking at getting drunk.

User

The event was very good. A lot of nostalgia going on with Dr Fox and all of the 90's & 00's songs/bands. Only downside was the pricing of food/drink it's Dagenham not London and the DJ kept repeating songs and after a while it felt like it went a bit flat inbetween acts. Other than that it was a good day out.

User

Really good day, great atmosphere! Staff were helpful & polite. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 Is the food choice was limited and £5 for a small can was a bit pricey! Other than that it was a really good day!!

User

I came last year n this year both brill only downsides for me were food was quite pricey and not a lot of difference between the food vans selections, drinks were slightly overpriced especially a small bottle of water was 1.50 in day thn £3 later on bit of a rip of! And I found my stomach ached due to being preg n not being allowed a chair in. I understand not everyone should bring them but disabled, preg should be allowed. Appart from those factors a very fab day.

User

I actually agree with Lottie regarding the length of time some "artists" had.

Some of the unknown support acts had full sets whereas blazing squad who my daughter came especially to see only did 3 songs. We travelled a long way for this so was a little disappointed. Not sure if that's down to the performers choice or time allocated to each?

Can't believe they took a bag of sweets off me at security "because there is food & drink to purchase on site"

Which was massively overpriced.

Having said that the security checks were thorough which put me at ease.

All in all it was a great day thank you

User

Brilliant Festival. The acts were brilliant, but there were a lot of unknown acts who seemed to be on longer than the famous acts. Blue were my favourites and Blazin Squad were fantastic but only did three songs, why. I have to say that drink prices were extortionate, food wasn't too bad price wise and you got a lot for the price but £5 for a can of lager is silly. Fantastic day and evening but when we left it all went downhill cause our car was stolen from the car park. Seven women from Kent standed in Essex as some arsehole stole the vehicle we came in. Police were great, not so sure about the car park marshals though who went home very quickly when they learned of our problem. Such a shame this happened at the end of a great day.

User

Loved the acts themselves but there was way too much hanging around in between.

When s club finally came on I thought here we go ... to then have the wait a very long time for Dane to come on.

For the amount of time the main acts were on stage it would of been better to start at about 6oclock rather than 1 !!

Drinks very overpriced too and not a proper bar, just cans of vodka and coke etc (with the vodka drinks running out very early) and a can of each being £5!!!!!! Crazy!
