what a great pub this is. staff very polite and friendly and always made to feel welcome. The 2 guys running it lee and paul are doing a great job. :) loving the new tues night karaoke its just what grantham needs :)

What can I say.... wow, fantastic, excellent, loved it. What a transformation, the place looks amazing. Staff were brilliant door staff as well as bar staff.

This place is great since it has been took over by Lee and Paul. Staff are always polite and always made feel welcome. Keep up the good work guys

The new manager Lee is a fab, does a great karaoke and has a good personality that you need in a manager , wish he was still with us in the north Visiting the pub in April

Love the selection of gins and definitely looking forward to trying all of the perfect gin serves as well as cocktails! Grantham finally has a place where you can relax in a nice beer garden and enjoy drinks at an affordable price :)

Ive been coming to this place for a half a year, never had any issues :) staff and management are great and understanding. Amazing beer garden and always clean :)

Best place in town, staff excellent, beer garden been enhanced by corrugated sheeting, no pigeon crap on seats (well done that man). Beer well chilled, bar area clean and clutter free, supervisor excellent, but wish I could understand the manager Lee, talks from up north lol, Paul no probs. Always a welcome friendly atmosphere, not like the other place the Duck, the Swan, oh no - the Goose, that's it.

Be visiting the pub in April can't wait because the new manager is great knows what people likes and will put good shows only maybe kareoke be worth visiting

What a transformation, great decor. Looks as though you have a hit on your hands and the range of gins is amazing. Looking forward to trying a few more! ;-) Only downside, music was a tad loud, especially if you end up having to sit near a speaker it doesn't make communication very easy. I think it could do with being a bit quieter personally more background than drowning out conversation. Wish you every success.

Fantastic place now, a lot more light and airy than before. An awesome selection of Gins available and the beers are good too!

Only downside at " Isaac" , background music far too loud . Otherwise a good pub with a decent landlord and staff ..

Been here a couple of times as it is the one bar in grantham thar serves proper cocktails and have had a lovely time. However after recently going in this Saturday afternoon, I was disappointed after waiting over ten minutes to be served, to then be told by the only staff member behind the bar that he could not serve cocktails because they were too busy! This would have been fine if they had taken then menu off the bar so they were not on offer. After speaking to some friends, they confirmed this had also happened to them the previous week. The lack of staff also meant that tables had not been cleared. It's a shame because it's usually very nice in there. Hopefully something to work on and maybe an idea to have more than one staff member on on a Saturday afternoon.
