Reaching the ripe old age of 100 is quite an achievement in itself, but even more so if you are spending your centenary birthday free falling from a plane at 10,000ft.
Meet Syd, a great-great-grandfather who is celebrating his 100th birthday by doing something rather special to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
We asked Syd about life, health and why he's decided to do a tandem skydive. Read our Q&A here:... https://bit.ly/2NqpSlI

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week. We're proud to work with leading mental health charities that are striving to end the stigma surrounding mental health.
Stress is something that affects all of us at some point in our lives and it is also the number one causative factor that can lead to a mental health issue.
Opening up to friends and family, ensuring our bodies are properly nourished and taking quality time for ourselves are just some of the small steps we can take to combat the negative physical and psychological effects of stress. Read our Mental Health Awareness Week blog to find out more.

Thoroughly enjoyed my tandem skydive organised by Skyline Event Management.

I attended the airfield at Headcorn with a group (of around 30 or so) who were supporting my Skydive in memory of my uncle Takis and we raised just under ┬Ż5000 for the Throat Cancer Foundation.

If you are thinking about it, bite the bullet and GO! You only live once! I would definitely do it again!

Thanks to Katy, Declan, Hayley and Faye and the team for helping to get me booked up and connected with the charity xxxxxx

Sitting in my hotel room in Paris aching but feeling fantastic after doing 300 miles from London. Tremendous event, a smashing bunch of fellow cyclists and a top crew.

User

Sep 2014 London to Brighton bike run, great fun, first time ever, hadn't ridden bike since age 15. Not bad for 65 going on 28!!

You see, your never too old, well, maybe 110 would be pushing it a bit!

Hoping to do 'Three cities sunflower' run July 2015.

Go on, go on, go on, just go for it, you'll be glad you did, for good cause, and you'll physically benefit yourself!

User

Just completed the London 2 Paris bike ride and it was awesome! Very well organised, great food, lovely scenic routes and helpful and friendly staff. Thank you to all for making this one of the happiest moments of my life. I will return !!

User

Just completed London to Paris cycle ride with an amazing bunch of people. The skyline crew were first class throughout. The organisation was faultless and any inevitable problems were dealt with without any fuss. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I would definitely do another event with them, even though I think Dominic's name is really Pinnochio!! Thank you to each and every one of you!!

User

I was very nervous about doing the London to Amsterdam ride, but I honestly had nothing to worry about.

Everything was planned well and the crew were amazing. The other riders were also a great bunch. Will definitely be doing another event.

User

I love this page.. And have empathy, will do anything for charity. . Wanna help..

User

I highly recommend using skyline, they did a wonderful job organising my skydive for charity back in june. Will definitely be using them again in the future!

User

I heard about Santa Run when I studies in Japan. Now I'm very happy to have this opportunity to come to London to do my first run. I'm very much excited and looking forward to it

User

I have taken on both the London to Paris and the London to Amsterdam rides now and really do recommend Skyline if you are thinking of taking on a charity ride. The crew are all amazing, the routes challenging and everything flows really well. No doubt I will be bike for more. Thanks guys

User

I had a fantastic skydive on Sunday 24th May 2015. Absolutely awesome, recommend it to anyone and the great thing is I raised over ┬Ż600 for cancer charity. Xx

User

Great organisation for Ben Nevis x great challenge completed for Kicks Count

User

Great events! Had so much fun on the 3 Peaks and the Santa Run! Same again next year!!!

User

Did my first skyline event this year of london to brighton bike ride and then completed the london 10k santa run yesterday dressed as santa.

Both events were very well organised and will be taking on more challenges with them next year

User

Brilliant day today in Regents Park , thanks for organising. And knowing that the runners raised just under ┬Ż1.4m really spurred us on!

User

Tried to book a jump for a friend who was ultimately unable to jump for various reasons which were out of our control.

No refund and even a threat of a ┬Ż50 cancellation fee. Well i hope you give the money you stole from me to charity you heartless thieving bastards.

User

Their London to Brighton took place today and went through my village. Nobody here had been warned the event was taking place and so it was utter carnage. I've never seen so many accidents almost happen in such a short amount of time. As it was, multiple ambulances, police cars and an air ambulance had to be called out just to the couple of mile stretch that goes through our village so who knows what happened elsewhere. I expect it is greed from the company taking entry fees and wanting to keep as much as possible for themselves instead of spending it on notification signage and marshalls. When the official London to Brighton happens, this stretch of road is officially closed one way and the whole village knows it. This company however seem to think it's acceptable to send thousands of cyclists down this busy main road and leave them to fend for themselves against all the pissed off motorists. Utterly ridiculous.
