Very nice friendly staff , food was delicious and a lovely location

User

Lovely pub 241 cocktails super and prosecco for 12.00 on a Friday what more can you ask.

Had a platter too later on in day which was good value and tasty!

Will definitely return

User

Had lunch in here before heading back home to Scotland on Saturday (21st Oct) the service was excellent, staff couldn’t do enough for you. Food was really good as well..... will definitely return the next time I visit London.

Great spot near to the tower of London....boats galore including the royal barge

Good food and drinks friendly staff lively atmosphere

User

Great service from happy, friendly staff. Great food with unexpectedly generous portion sizes (we only ordered sides). Clean loos & nice decor. Lovely chilled atmosphere. Highly recommended

User

Great night 6 of us had a great night great service and food

User

Been here a few times and enjoyed it every time, by yesterday just sat outside and enjoyed a bottle of Rose' wine.

User

We went up to the bar and sat outside so can't comment on the service. My only tiny moan is that on such an incredibly hot day, there were only 2 sun umbrellas which meant we had to leave earlier than we wished. Inside was airless so that was not an option. Did spoil our special occasion.

User

Staff are lovely, and the atmosphere is great we ordered the sharing platter which we enjoyed and then for mains it was burgers and the burgers were well over cook to the point of almost cremation, I love the cocktails but won't necessarily be going back for the food, I think I would try one of the other pubs that are near me

User

Lovely staff & enjoyed the cocktails, didn't have food so can't comment

User

Lovely setting. Service can be hit and miss if busy. Food was ok, but why when you order the sharing platter you only get 3 slices of garlic bread, when we mentioned it to the waitress she said she would sort it out and hour later we got more onion rings wtf?.

Part from that it's lovely

User

Lovely decor, really clean and a wonderful atmosphere. But the ladies toilets have a drainage problem - come on guys - seriously!?!

There were a few occasions when we saw food left waiting to be taken to tables but the food we had was nice and hot

Just some minor issues really because overall a really nice place

Booked for New Years Eve, were running late so rang through and told them..no problem table was reserved for 9..good friendly service, didn’t have to wait too long for drinks..decided to go and see fireworks, informed staff..they said no problem, we’ll keep your drinks and table for you..had a great night..

This slug+lettuce I have visted several times+always found it good. On this visit I thought I would have something different(always have a burger normally). So went for a different starter!didnt have!+main course didnt have so ending up having my normal fare. This has happened a couple of time before in different slug+lettuces. Also while still eating our starters the waitress brought our main courses out which we really wasnt happy about

User

The location is lovely and the restaurant modern and contemporary. However the service is hit or miss. You are quick to be seated but taking an order and getting a refill is lacking. The food was not bad but felt very commercial manufactured.

Went with family for 18th birthday there were younger people in the group but shown as family friendly. Three times the manager warned us loudly we couldn’t buy drinks for the younger ones and each time louder than the last. No discretion at all un the way he warned us and said we’d all be ejected if the youngsters were caught drinking. We had intended to stay and eat but I’m even annoyed with myself for buying one round in there which we didn’t enjoy anyway as he glared at us the whole time. Do not bother going there with young family you are clearly not welcome and to be honest I think he was aggravated as we were taking up space where the rich city folk could sit.

Unfortunately had an awful evening we were sat next to a stag do who were extremely loud and drunk at 6.30 pm we had whistle blowing shouting and swearing all the while there was still children eating, no one told them to be quiet, then after ordering pudding we asked to be moved as we all had a headache and was at the point of stabbing stag party with a fork .

To be told there was no milk for our coffees, definitely won't be coming back in a hurry

User

Booked a table for 7pm for my friends birthday, didn't even get shown to our table, they just pointed at the table so we sat ourselves down. Over an hour went by before we finally had contact with any staff, we first asked if we could order and the waiter just walked past and ignored us, we asked again a second time and he said 'no you can't order for 45 minutes because we have a big table that are having their food cooked, I've already told you that once'..... I didn't realise you can't take orders because a table is being served?

I asked for a manager and the manager took our order and advised us of a slight delay to the food... an hour passed before our food started arriving. I personally ordered a steak which was undercooked and might as well have been mooing on the plate, so I asked if I could get it cooked a little more. A second steak then arrived at my table and again it was waaaay too undercooked for my liking, so I gave up and just sent it back and said I didn't want another one.

I then asked for the general manager, who I have to say is the saving grace of the entire place. He was very quick to apologise for everything that's happened etc. However as a company slug and lettuce need to employ some chefs who actually know how to cook as this isn't the first time we've been let down by this same store, the last time I was served raw chicken.

I doubt I'd ever return for food, but the cocktails were okay.
