What a great place! Loved everything, food was incredible!

Truly Amazing BBQ , puts any other place claiming to be “true bbq” I have tried in the Uk to shame . Please can you go out and train people so I can get the stunning beef ribs, brisket , pork ribs etc etc outside of London. I even heard a guy from the US south saying it was the best he had had in the world ..

Such an amazing place. The concept of producing and serving good quality food in a relaxed and buzzing environment is an experience. The staff were attentive and helpful. The food was outstanding.

Me and my partner got the crispy ox cheek to start then we got the beef short rib and brisket plus a side of beetroot and goats cheese. Everything was outstanding. I know this is all about the meat but the beetroot dish was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted!! We stayed for cocktails (I recommend the rhubarb sour) and got not but good vibes and great service from start to finish. Will be back next time I’m in London

Crispy ox cheeks and beef brisket were AMAZING! We were skeptical about BBQ as Americans in London but some of the best brisket I’ve ever had. The sides were all incredible as well

Been a few times. This place never fails to impress. Salt baked beetroot, brisket buns and mushrooms on toast are a must. Honestly, go and do it.

Amazing lunch! The brisket was meltingly tender, tried everyone else's lunch too -all super tasty. Totally recommend the rhubarb crumble which is coming on to menu soon.. we had a sneaky preview �

Amazing food ... cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious.

Absurd! One of the best tender crispy delicious meat I ever had.

Great to sit outside in the sunny weather as it can get quite noisy inside. Great food! Had a wide selection but my faves were the Beef Brisket, Aubergine, and Beetroot dishes. Nomnomnom.

Very small (but admittedly tasty) portions.



Now for the negatives.



A beetroot. As a starter.

A single scoop of ice cream between two people. Are you taking the fucking piss?

Intrusive table light at eye level.

Cramped tables.

Piss poor beer.

Erm, the toilets? Really?

Smoking shelters with more holes in it than your idea of customer service.

Bloody rude waiters.

£660 bill for what amounted to little more than snacks for 11 of us.

Service charge included in the bill.

Ordered, not requested, to leave our table.



I for one will not return and will not recommend the place to anyone.

Nice food but on our visit they had issues with electricity. Lights kept going off. The place eventually filled with smoke and hurt our eyes. They had to leave the front door open to let all the smoke out and our food got cold because of the draft. Service was slow and it is such a shame because the food was good. Just spoiled by the horrible experience.

Most of the dishes, especially the brisket were of a good quality. A lot of the food is on the higher end of the salt scale - many of the other flavours are lost. There was no chips on the menu, which wasn’t in keeping with the rest of the dishes, but the side salad was good.



Service was quite rushed - and the table was too small to accommodate our dishes. The bill was put on our table before we had asked for it - despite asking for desert. They had suggested we could have it at the bar as they wanted to make space for other guests, but I passed.



Unfortunately couldn’t recommend it based on that, lots of other excellent options nearby.
