Went to the Hull store today to buy a car seat for my Grandson. 5* service. The girl who served us was excellent, full knowledge of the seats we looked at, explained everything in great detail, showed us the fitting process both in the car and on a shop floor dummy seat, then watched over me fitting the new seat in the car after we had bought it, double checking me all the way! Would recommend this store to anyone wanting to buy a car seat!

This is my favourite toy shop. They don't mnd you playing with the toys which is awesome and the staff are very helpful. :)

Thank you to the lady who helped us on Saturday, she went above and beyond. She showed us the best and safest car seat, showed us how to fit it, and installed it for us before we went home. I know it is her job, but she stood with us for sometime answering all our questions, chatting to my daughter etc. She did say no one ever leaves good reviews but are always quick to leave bad ones, so here's a good one �thank you.

My daughter lost her purse in here today with her saved up £20 inside

I immediately assumed the worst and gave it up for lost, assuming someone had seen in and pocketed it.

However I thought I'd ask the staff anyway and as soon as I had they went looking for us. 10 mins later one of them had found it, with the money still inside.

It gave me my faith in humanity back and made my daughter very happy.

Thanks to the manager and very special thanks to the guy on the checkout that found it. Don't know your name but you know who you are. Many thanks guys, you saved the day �

Just want to say how helpful Adam was in the Hull store today when I had problems with Hermes making a home delivery and basically throwing my parcel, which contained a 9kg hoverboard, over my 6ft garden fence as I was at work! He couldn’t do enough when I called him and said bring in the parcel and they will exchange it for a new hoverboard no problems..all in the same day..fabulous customer service, 10/10!

Just want to say how grateful Iam to Tom and the team at the hull store.

Went out of there way to help me with a pushchair problem,even though it wasn’t their fault and even threw in a little gift for my baby daughter.

Very happy customer - will always recommend!

Fantastic visit today my little girl went back in to get her dory figure and the kid manager gave her a free nemo toy. She says thank you so much she loves it

Best toy shop in Hull and thanks to the guy on the game department (was on shift yesterday morning) who is always helpful and friendly.

Miles better than Yorks and their lieing staff. Anytime there is a problem I get a satisfactory resolution at Hull

I bought an nintendo 2ds for my son as a Christmas present and the screen keeps going blank and makes a noise when you try and turn it on the bloke who I spoke to made out I did it and the store manger needs lessons in how to treat customers with respect

firstly all staff need to learn basic customer service skills.. appalling service. Secondly why work in a toy shop which is for kids if you have an attitude of a dying slug, I've also realised this store is full of blokes with grumpy personalities and really don't know how to interact with children.. service with a smile would be nice.. thirdly it's twice now where the pricing or offers have been wrong when we've got to the till, you false advertise a lot of products.. my little boy picked a Thomas take n play train set and it said buy one get one free on all Thomas take n play engines.. I went and asked what looked like the manager if I'd got it right and he said yeah and got to the till and it came up at the wrong price and told me I've got the products when the manager said I was right.. ever told a 2 year old they can't have something when I've just told him he can?? Need to sort p.o.s out and make sure everything is at the right price throughout the store.. twice now I've got to the till with my little boy and the price has been advertised wrong.. second time which was today I won my argument with a guy who worked there and got it as the advertised price even though he wanted to charge me £15 more at the till because the advertised price was out of date.. not the customers problem guys if you're advertising stuff at the wrong price.. inconclusion cheer up or go get an office job where you don't have to deal with customers :)

Poor customer service. Was ignored by two members of staff. No manners at all.

I contacted them through chat about my daughters faulty scooter every time she uses it she hurts her ankle as the wheels are to far apart and have big metal nuts sticking out not sunken into the wheels the lady on chat told me to take it into store and when i did they said they rang customer services and they have a copy of chat and said she said not to take it to store to email them for a code so i got aback in touch again and they admitted they did tell me to take it to store but now say it isnt faulty when it is if its causing damage to my child's legs i have photos of her ankles and will be taking this further they just tried to make me look silly and its not good enough you put honest reviews on and they never get put on only the good ones get on so dont look on there site for honest reviews as you wont find any only the good its wrong
