Went here on Sunday 3rd june with the family. Great wee spot. Eating al fresco in the craft village just gives it that holiday vibe. There with my husband and the boys. As always dave and all the staff couldn't do enough. Food was top class too. Will def be back again. ÔøΩ

User

We went for lunch here today and it was beautiful! Such a lovely place and most importantly the food and service were both fabulous. Best of luck to all of you and cant wait to come back again

Such a lovely place, with gorgeous food, and staff who naturally portray what excellence in customer service is all about. All of this at a very reasonable price.

User

Quick visit home and popped in with my dad for breakfast. Both had irish breakfast all the trimmings. Top notch !! definately worth venturing out in the rain for

User

Loved my wee night here last night with friends! Eating al fresco in lovely weather with great food and wine ÔøΩ will def be back ÔøΩÔøΩ would highly recommend.

User

I really can't recommend this eatery enough, called in for a quick bite, "Burger 'n Chips", the best beef burger I've had in a very long time and the chips would register a 10+ on the Master Chef scale, (if there is such a thing), dry and crisp on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside, for me it's such a pleasure to get chips that don't come with an oil slick!

Looking forward to my next visit :)

User

Having had breakfast at this lovely, comfortable restaurant we decided to go back for dinner. We were not disappointed. Although only open a week we had the most delicious meal. The previous night we had eaten at TripAdvisor's no. 1 restaurant in Londonderry/Derry but this was far superior to the extremely good meal we had had there. They make their own bread and our appetiser of Guinness soda bread was amazing. Their ribs are the best I have ever tasted. Their location in the craft village within the city walls is excellent. If we were going back to Londonderry/Derry we would definitely go back again..... Maybe it's a reason to return. Thank you Raymond and staff for an excellent meal.

User

Had lunch here today with my sister. My first visit, but more will definitely follow. The food was delicious, but it was the service which won me over. Being awkward as ever I asked if the smoked chicken and avocado salad had onions - David, our waiter, assured me they could be taken out if so; getting confirmation I wasn’t allergic to boot. My salad was yum. As for that ‘Derry Mess’ dessert, scrumptious. David certainly made our lunch fun, enjoyable and he ensured everything was to our liking. Food was excellent and service to match. And the coffee was such too. So yes, a return visit shall be had.

User

Fantastic lunch in lovely warm and cosy surroundings. Good choice on the menu and also some specials. Best wishes to Ray Ciaran Glenn and all the team

User

Fantastic food and service. I highly recommend the smoked chicken tagliatelle, absolutely delicious! The 'Derry Mess' was a great way to finish also. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

User

Dropped in for an unplanned late lunch on Tuesday with my husband to a lovely welcome from the staff. I had seafood pie and he had beef and guinness pie. Absolutely delicious and great service. We had fun naming the caricatures of local legends which were displayed on one wall! Highly recommend!

User

Called in for the first time yesterday for lunch and had the seafood chowder and Guinness - I think! - bread. Delicious. Lovely ambience, friendly, helpful staff, good, varied menu and prices that won't break the bank! Call in and see for yourself! Don't let another Craft Village restaurant close through lack of support.

User

Ate at soda and starch today for the first time with my family, food was really great and service was brilliant, will definitely be back!

User

An excellent new addition to the Derry restaurant scene. Ate here with family, some of whom were over from the States. Everyone loved it. Top quality food, really nice decor and atmosphere, great cocktails and excellent service from witty local staff. Definitely going back very soon. Gotta make my way through the menu!

User

See yous again soon ÔøΩÔøΩ

User

Had a great night here on Saturday food was lovely and a great menu but it is lacking for coeliac people. I asked had they any gluten free pasta or bread and was told no they had none this would put me off going back as you are limited to what you can eat. Other than that service was great and location is lovely.

User

Lovely location, great menu..friendly staff.

Would have given a five however menu must be clearer about ingredients ... wheaten bread is wheaten bread not treacle and Guiness...bread.

Attention to detail...had to ask for the lemon mayo which was part of the dish!
