We had a superb special meal at the Spice Lounge last night! To celebrate their 10th anniversary in Faversham, they generously donated a wonderful meal for 74 people to the Swing the Bridge fundraising campaign. The food was absolutely delicious, fragrant and very delicately made, and beautifully served... really unusual and authentic. We especially liked the finni dessert made by Roqib's mother! Scrumptious! Thank you very much indeed to the restaurant and all the staff - we had a wonderful night and we are very happy with this marvellous contribution to the community!

If you haven't eaten here for a while, treat yourself & go back, these guys have raised their game to an incredible standard. Every dish is made with fresh spices and service is trully fabulous.

I took my daughter and 5 friends to Spice Lounge last night for her birthday. As always, the meal was excellent, the staff were friendly and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. Once they realised it was my daughter's birthday they arranged for a cake with candles so that we could sing Happy Birthday. Thank you Spice Lounge! Be back soon!

Being from South Asian background, i have grown up eating Indian food and the love of spices. Most restaurants in the UK have adopted the Indian cuisine to meet the demand of the west, in most cases it does not even come close to what Indian/Bangladesh people eat at home. The food i had at Spice lounge was surprisingly so authentic that i felt is if i am having a meal at home.

I visited the Spice lounge when it first opened years ago and was a regular as food was perfect and service was brilliant, however, in the past year or so it has really gone downhill. My meal last night was average at best, and the service was poor. Such a shame as this was such a wonderful restaurant..

This is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to write and complain about a take away but I have eaten in your restaurant quite a few times over the last few years and in the past would say the food was excellent but sadly last night we had a take away and most of it went in the bin. Maybe you do separate food for the restaurant and take way to save money. We ordered 3 chicken dishes all of which contained very dry overcooked chicken. The kurma sauce didn’t have a little desiccated coconut added to it – the desiccated coconut had a little kurma sauce added to it. It was so thick with coconut you could’ve stood a spoon up in it. The chicken tikka massalla sauce on the other hand was like water and very tasteless. Not even the slightest of red colour but just orange and bland. Even the 12 year old eating with us said it had no flavour and her mother had to cook her something else. Even the pilau rice as badly cooked. Not light and fluffy but sticky and stodgy. We ate some of it just to fill a hole but will not be returning again.
