Spicy Wagon specialises in cooking Indian Style Street Food.

We sell Indian food such as meat, chicken, lentil soup, lamb keema, vegetable curry with rice or naan bread (we have our traditional way of cooking using different types of herbs and vegetables). We also sell stir-fry rice with different toppings and char grill food such as lamb /chicken seekh kebab and Indian style lamb chicken sandwich /roll. We have a starter section in the menu, which comprises of samosa, papadom, vegetable spring roll and much more. Salads and drinks are also in the menu e. g. mineral water and juices.

I have been in the food business for a very long time. My family and myself are from Assame, a place located north east of India. From there we travelled to Bangladesh, Sylhet and Dhaka where street food is at it’s peak and the atmosphere is vibrant and lively, something that I really enjoy experiencing, as I love to meet and interact with people and enjoy cooking and serving our traditional style of food. I believe street food has become very popular and it is being seriously acknowledged by the west. Worldwide, millions have experienced the likes of Thailand and India and have enjoyed the vibrant experience of the street food market, longing to find the same experiences closer to home.

As a food trader I want to create an awareness of my style of traditional food and celebrated south East Asian culture, and I always enjoy receiving compliments from customers old and new. I see street food akin to street magic e. g. street magic verses stage magic similarly street food as opposed to restaurants and takeaways. Street food is a fantastic, quick fire alternative and I love the flexibility and mobility it affords me.
