About Spirit Of Remembrance Battlefield Tours
Spirit of Remembrance is a fully licensed specialist GLOBAL Battlefield & Remembrance Travel & Tour operator for Australia, Canada & NZ based in the UK.
Spirit Of Remembrance Battlefield Tours Description
'Spirit of Remembrance' operates VERY SPECIAL battlefield & remembrance tours - both 'tailor made' travel experiences to match your exact requirements and small discreet personalized group tours. We are also a FULLY LICENCED travel company ensuring complete peace of mind for our clients money.
With the centenary of WW1 now upon us (1914-2014) public and government interest in the centenary and centenary events is quite extraordinary. So too is the demand from people and families researching their family history and who wish to "walk the ground" where their ancestors fought (and fell) in WW1, thus demand for our services - especially accommodation on the WW1 Western Front is already extremely high.
We at Spirit of Remembrance are NOT just another battlefield travel company. Our business founders and specialist battlefield guides are all highly experienced in operating battlefield and remembrance tours, with most of our guides being members of the prestigious Guild of Battlefield Guides and ex military, having served with honour and distinction in the armed forces.
We also totally believe that our business is NOT just about being a 'business', it is about - above all - a TOTAL passion for what we do- remembrance - and putting something back into everyones lives that we reach out and touch.

It's nearly upon us. 11/11 At 11am tomorrow we will remember the terrible hardships and sacrifices that our forebears (and animals) suffered - and died for exactly 100 years ago in the Great War. To give us the freedoms we enjoy today. From all corners of the earth - and all countries - now united - Let us never forget. Ever. Duty done. Rest easy. Spend a minute and reflect. Lest we forget.
The French lost 2 generations as well... Lest we forget.. https://www.abc.net.au/…/soldiers-retur n-to-french…/10484480

As we approach the 100 year anniversary of the Great war - the war to end all wars..(??) spare a tiny thankyou for our Muslim brothes and sisters... What they went through ..openly.. in WW1 defies belief. Lest we forget. https://www.independent.co.uk/…/armisti ce-day-remembrance-d…
We thank the organisers and supporters of the Artois "Great Vigil" for the fallen for all their work and hope that all goes well as more than 270 locations are illuminated by candles on 10th Nov. If you are in the area please join us and our groups in commemoration. More info La Grande Veillée

As we approach this VERY special Remembrance day: 11/11/2018 - exactly 100 years ago - the most cataclysmic and terrible event ever known to mankind finished its evil course. Let's all - no matter where we are on this earth - or what we are doing.- take a minute to remember all the men and women - and our poor animals also - in every country on earth - who fought and died - for what they believed in. A Cry for Peace - around the world. The Battle is over. Lest we Forget. https://www.brunopeek.co.uk/
