The Manager, Rui Daniel Faria, was prosecuted for flytipping. 25 bags of rubbish including rotting food and an infestation of maggots was dumped in beautiful countryside in Buckinghamshire in June 2016. It originated from this restaurant. He was ordered to pay nearly £2,000 in fines and costs. Please consider this when choosing this restaurant.
My booking went lost (apparently this happens frequently) but the waitress told us that we were lucky and there was one table free. I had in mind the delicious Lisbon cuisine, the cod croquet's and a variety of other dishes but the menu was quite basic -grilled food with beans and veggies- and the meal was quite dry. This experience recalled to my memory some University canteen: not sure why it costed 50GBP each but I know why this restaurant is not on Tripdavisor
