At 11am Hannah continued our ‘Grow’ series by unpacking the story of Zacchaeus and what it tells us about giving. Is our relationship with money a growth-stunter or a growth-accelerator?⁣ ⁣ In the evening at 6pm, Maya dove into the pivotal moment when Jesus gives Peter his new name and a new sense of purpose.⁣ ⁣ If you missed it go listen again!

Jesus never leaves us no matter what season we are in. God wants to do business with us and He desires us to look to Him through all the ups and downs. He does this by the Holy Spirit and through the community of God’s people.⁣ ⁣ There is no reason to go at it alone. We are intended to be in community with one another. We are to carry each other’s burdens and to serve one another. That is the family of God.⁣ ⁣ YOU ARE NOT ALONE.⁣... ⁣ How can we pray with you during this season of your life?⁣

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. ~ John 15:5⁣ ⁣ Because we are in relationship with God, we can create fruitful work that is not meaningless and that will last. ⁣ ⁣ YOU HAVE PURPOSE.

The Summer Older People and Friends Concert & Tea at St Alban’s Fulham is just around the corner from you and we are excited to welcome you here!⁣ ⁣ These free events are unique in Hammersmith & Fulham in the way they bring together people from all ages and stages and in the way they offer a range of delicious flavours both for our taste buds, but also for our ears and eyes.⁣ ⁣ There is an amazing line up of musicians, but also an opportunity for us to sing some songs too! We’re expecting it to be a wonderful event and do hope you can come along on the 11th May at 3pm.

This past Sunday we began two new sermon series. At 11am Matt opened our series called ‘Grow’, exploring different ways that we can grow and bear fruit as individuals and as a church. We started by looking at the power of prayer as a core part of our growth.
In the evening at 6pm, Hannah launched our series on the life of Peter, taking a look at Peter’s ‘origin story’ – the moment Jesus calls him to a whole new life.

"And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me," Says the Lord Almighty. ~ 2 Corinthians 6:18
We have a good good father who we are made in His image, who desires to love us just where we are at.
YOU ARE LOVED.

On 4th May, we invite you to come as you are. Weary… discouraged… burned out… empty… seeking… suffering… ashamed… afraid… sick… or maybe free… strong… expectant.
This gathering we ask ourselves, “what are we truly relying on in our everyday lives?” “Do we trust God in every way? We are here because we desire to live out this big faith and to leave an impact on the world. But if we’re being honest, there are situations, people, decisions we have to make, health, money, and o...ther everyday challenges where we don’t know how to follow God. Faith can move mountains, but it can also change our everyday circumstances. We want spend time together and time to point us to God’s wisdom found in Proverbs.
We'll gather to worship, connect and watch speakers from the IF:Gathering. Lunch and snacks are provided. The event is free, but you are more than welcome to give a donation.
Please feel free to invite people to this event (or send them the link to sign up). All are welcome!
So we know of any dietary restrictions, etc. please register for the event here: https://iflondon.iflocal.com/register-to- attend/

We are so excited for this weekend as we reflect all that Jesus did on the cross for us and celebrate His resurrection into heaven. Through this great act of love, Jesus restored our relationship with God. Through this relationship with God, we can create purposeful work that is not meaningless and that will last.
YOU HAVE PURPOSE.
