Just sharing some feedback, Good morning Steve,
I just wanted to drop you a line and express my sincere thanks for the excellent service that you’ve provided. The turnaround on the repair of the front wheel for my SV was brilliant, and I have to say I was tremendously impressed with the “truth” both axially and radially of the wheel when I’ve spun it up on my balancing stand. I’ve been building / re-building my own bicycle wheels for about 8 years now and I’ve become... quite obsessed with my wheels being true. The accuracy of the work that you’ve carried out on my motorcycle wheel is exceptional and was a real joy to see it spin with no discernable wobble/mis-alignment in any direction. I’ve not bothered to DTI or gauge the wheel as I can see it’s practically perfect. I’ve been a professional engineer for over 20 years now and like to think I can recognise the work of a proper master of their craft when I see it, and you sir must be one of the best.

Yamaha R6 front wheel repair.
used steve a couple of times,top notch every time
Needed a wheel and a few discs sorting so sent them over to Steve. One day later and they were all sorted and ready to collect, blown away by the quality of work and for such great value!
Highly recommended if you want a friendly service from a guy who really knows his stuff. Thanks again!
I've always known Stephen Townsend as "Steve the Straightener". This ex-blacksmith is an absolute artist on motorbike frames wheels, forks, and brake-discs too. If he can't straighten it, I'll bet that nobody can!
Fantastic quick service, cannot recommend enough.
Anyone with a damaged rim please take time to speak to Steve at st motorcycle enginerring. Was informed by a main dealer that the wheel is not repairable . And new 1 is £790 from Kawasaki . Well Steve has worked wonders and repaird it for an amazing price.
Can't recommend his services enough �����������
