We had a short 1/2 day visit to London and this was the perfect lunch spot. The location and history are amazing! We had fish and chips, which was fantastic. If you are in the area, this place is definitely work checking out.

Nice pub, friendly staff, good pint of Badgers & a good ham sandwich. Only drawback - it was a bit chilly inside.

My favourite London pub

User

Amazing atmosphere, with an a tremendous past. Loved the bustle, the fish and chips, and the beers :)

Above and beyond service

User

Nice and friendly good beer and atmosphere

User

Lovely atmospheric pub, old fashion feel right opposite Big Ben. Been here twice and enjoyed both times. Next time we'll give the food a try and may give it a 5 star rating.

User

Just had a pint and a small pork pie. I enjoyed this and thought the place was not bad. Now there was a lot of traffic due to closed roads and a foot race so the flow of people was a bit off.

User

Great beer, great location, great atmosphere last Wednesday evening, and the staff were very nice to everyone about getting us out the door after closing time too... despite all the dawdling!

User

Good food top quality great atmosphere glad I popped in

User

Very expensive a d the food is overpriced for the tiny amount you get, my hubby a d daughter had chips and cheese hardly any cheese on them surely false advertising I had chilli and chips and again hardly anything there, disappointed to say the least wouldn't go again. Overpriced and over rated, shame really.

User

Very British with mostly foreign staff (not British). It’s located just across the street from Parliament.

User

Traditional pub, good beer, good staff but every time I have been there it has been packed. Sign of a good pub I suppose but I prefer to sit and sip my beer not stand.

User

The staff was not very friendly

User

Lovely old fashioned pub , bit expensive really and toilets we're disgusting very dirty , my wife went to the ladies and walked back out , maybe clean them every now and then

User

I love this place but I don’t know why. The location is perfect, the price is reasonable and staff aren’t too bad. The reason I give it 3 stars is because their is just something missing. The place has character but it just lacks the ‘pub’ factor!

User

Great pub. Impossible to get a seat though. Shame. Like it here.

User

£16.80 for a large wine spritzer and Pimms?! Too expensive in my mind and nowhere to sit so stood outside on the pavement 😒 Not the best experience !

User

People came in after we ordered and were squashed in around us. Tables are so close with chairs on top of each other . One woman was so close she almost ate my breakfast with me 🤤. Expensive and very claustrophobic. Food tasted good but wouldn't go back.
