Just stayed for four days yes hotel is dated but it's going to be demolished for the hospital extension. We moved rooms, the staff were very helpful got a tray of goodies to apologise! Food at breakfast was great. Sad to see the staff trying to make the best of a bad situation. And! Literally two minutes walk from the town and beach x

We stayed in the Stafford for 6 nights. We found the staff very welcoming and friendly and especially Cedric on reception who was very helpfull. Our room while being very dated was clean and comfortable , with fresh towels every day, and plenty of hot water. We were spoiled for choice at breakfast time, but, we had dinner there one evening and it was very disappointing. The food was very bland and the choice wasn't wonderful, it was around £15 for 2 courses and £17 something for 3 courses, would have preferred to pay a little more for a better choice. The dining room would have been better had it been cordened off a little as the room was just too big for the small crowd that were dining there. All in all, we had a lovely time there and yes I would stay there again.

The Stafford Hotel. Let's get the negatives out the way the rooms are out dated and could use remodelling as well as the hall ways. With that said the lobby and lounge area have plenty of places to sit, be comfortable not the mention the bar. It's very cosy down there and a great place to relax after a long day of tourism. The staff are exceptionally wonderful incredibly friendly. It was my birthday while I was staying there and they found out at dinner and brought out a cake with a candle and offered me a free drink it was a lovely treat. The food, my god the food. There breakfast is an all you can eat buffet containing full English and continental foods. All fresh and fried to perfection it was hard to sleep at night because I was so excited to wake up to a meal fit for a king. Dinner in the evening was just as exceptional even though they didn't offer much. It had the evenings special which was a different starter, main and dessert and then the rest of the menu remained the same throughout the week. Each meal was incredible, basically no waiting around one minute you order and in the next 5 our group of 6 had our starters. There chef is a wizard in the kitchen and his dishes are worth getting the full board it'll save you a lot more money and stress trying to find a place to eat in the busy town centre. All in all the Stafford Hotel is a lovely and welcomimg place and deserves more than 2 stars, yes the rooms may be out dated but it adds this strange charm to your stay and I found it grew on me as I stayed there and I have to admit I do miss the simplicity of it.

Very tired, dated hotel. Receptionist rather rude and unhelpful on arrival but staff generally very friendly. If you like your decor from the 70's you'll probably like it. For anyone who prefers something from this century, you may be disappointed although it is at least clean. Pillows and shower curtains definitely need changing.

Though the hotel is dated, I have found it comfortable. The breakfast included was of good quality. Good location for St. Helier town centre.

Been going to this hotel for the last 5 years . The food is great the staff are friendly. The rooms are a little outdated but apart from that No complaints. A good solid base to start out from for your holidays. (Be sad to see it go)
