We were celebrating a friends surprise birthday. The staff couldn't have been any more helpful or supportive. They let us take over the pub basically with the amount of people who turned up. Everything was perfect. Also the other drinkers were friendly and welcoming too. Fantastic evening! Thank you all.

We have been on 3 occasions and each time it's been a lovely visit. This last visit we had Sunday roast and it was so tasty and the service was very efficient. This is what I class as a proper pub. Definitely go back.

Quality Ember Inn. Chose to come here as I am familiar with the chain. Was impressed - great food, great service and excellent beer on tap. Nice quiet dining area and excellent beer garden.

One of few best pubs in Enfield for food and drink. Family friendly and fantastic atmosphere.

On Sunday 21st August we had a surprise gathering to celebrate my dads 80th bday and my daughters 18th bday. We had an excellent afternoon. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you to Donna and all the staff that helped make the day so special. Would highly recommend ��

I went there for lunch with my son. The food was good. I love this pub as nice surroundings and always feel comfortable in there.Been going here for many years. But i must say the last few times i have been the food wasn't very good and they were getting lots of complaints.So im not sure if they have changed the staff etc but food now seems alot better.

I took a party of fifteen there yesterday and we were all served our food promptly. The staff at the bar were efficient, no problems. The atmosphere in the Stag & Hounds was very good.

I do like this pub but the last time I visited someone had done a poo in the sink and my son got it on his hands by accident. Hopefully the toilets will be a little cleaner after the refurb.

Lovely food Meat eater and Vegan. Reasonably priced

Local, cosy and welcoming. Has a relaxing environment.

Drinks reasonably priced. Had a nice meal which was good value.

Seem to get served a lot quicker since the new manager took over and its running more smoothly.

Met up with the girls for a spot of lunch and a chat. Food was mediocre and wasn't given the choice of bread that was offered. Sandwich was rather dry chips were ok. Food was brought out with no cutlery and when asked the young girl pointed and said it's in there...

Visited as party of a family funeral - booking they were happy to take.

Within minutes of arriving we were asked to move our seats, what turned out to be about 4", because of health and safety, apparently.

Over the course of the afternoon, new rule after new rule was introduced, starting with the kids not being allowed to sit in a certain area, followed by them having to sit in that area and not move around. No room for parental discretion.

The staff were miserable as they introduced these rules, but of course remained happy to take our money for food and drinks all afternoon.

If you don't want families in your pub, don't take family bookings. Don't take people's money and then behave that way....

Sorry to say it but my first and last visit there. Walked into the bar and some of the bar staff were having fun with some rowdy customers, that I can stand but the one little girl serving me was called away Hythe othe girl bar staff to help one of her friends get on the internet so myself and a lady customer waited to be served while the rest of the staff were having fun with their friends. When I was finally served by the girl who was serving me originally she apologised for having to leave me. Having been served with my drinks we had to sit and listen to the crowd taking the Mick out of other customers their friends behind the bar allowing this. Sadly it looks a nice pub from outside and everyone knows you sometimes get undesirables in a pub but not when their friends with the bar staff who made no attempt to keep them quiet

Roast dinner ... Tepid at best. Chewy tough beef, congealed gravy and frozen veg �

No raspberry compote with dessert

Just very disappointing

Food terrible, the chips tasted like they were cooked yesterday and I've never seen a jacket potato microwaved with the cheese on it. It was swimming in molten cheese. Disgusting. Never again. ..
