I've used Stanley Gibbons catalogues for my collections since I was 7 years old and still do. Only trouble is its very difficult to get a hold of them in Sri Lanka and pretty expensive to lay my hands on the set of the latest Stamps of the World catalogues. 275 pounds sterling is lot to dish out for a Sri Lankan!

As a collector of stamps Stanley Gibbons is the first name i can think of when i need to find out about them.I don't have the greatest collection but this is a friendly site and don't mind if i send the odd photo.Thank you very much.

I've purchased stock books in the past from SG and had very good success with all aspects, from ordering to receiving my orders. Quite satisfied all around. But lately, ordering a stock book is depressing. I can't seem to acquire a simple 64 white page stock book with 10 rows. There are only black 16, 32 or 64 page with 9 rows. If I can't acquire a SG stock book in this configuration from SG, then where the hell would one go to. The second hand market. Heaven forfend !

Although we found what we were looking for having travelled to London, the individual who served us was obnoxious, condescending if not rude. A pity!

Their portfolio investments they so proudly advertised are now in administration!
