In October 2013 I wrote a short story. It was rural New York, the end of the Sixties, and Molly was sewing Cory's Halloween costume. Molly and Gene had adopted Cory but to keep him safe, they must keep him a secret. I became obsessed with their story and that is where my book ***Our Child of the Stars*** came from.

I read the first third of the book aloud to the Big Green Bookshop Writing Group. I got great feedback from friends and I did a lot of editing. And in Sept 2015 I secured an excellent agent - Rob Dinsdale of www. Independentliterary.com.

And we got a deal. Our Child of the Stars will be published in 2019 by Jo Fletcher Books. We are actively seeking an American deal and the screen rights - it would make a truly great film.
