The days are slowly drawing in… you've spent a good 6 weeks being an entertainment centre for your children, you've been stuck at airports, you've kept your temper with the car hire company, and now? It's time to give yourself a reward. So go on, take a breath and choose something lovely just for you https://bit.ly/2NlCWwv

Just as all that glitters is not gold, not every stone named for its blue colour is actually blue. Sapphires, named after the ancient Greek and Latin for blue, come in a range of colours from violet through orange and pink to grey and green, making them a gorgeously versatile gemstone for those lucky things born in September.
These non-blue sapphires are known as ‘fancy’ and come in a breath-taking variety of shades. In fact, the ruby is the same mineral as sapphire (corundum...) but it has its own name to differentiate it from the reddish/pink hues of fancy sapphires. The most desired blue sapphire is ‘Cornflower Blue,’ a beautiful deep mid blue, which, nestled into a gold or platinum setting really draws the eye.
Sapphires have, in fact, long been desired. The Ancient Persians believed the sky was painted blue by their reflection and treasured them as holy stones. Many religions thought the colour represented the heavens, and ancient kings wore them as a defence against harm. Worn by film stars and royalty alike, these stones take millions, even billions of years to form, and represent a tiny piece of mesmerising history. They form in the earth and reflect the skies. What more could you wish for in a birthstone? https://bit.ly/2NQovgV

If you buy Fairtrade coffee and bananas, then why not have your Stephen Einhorn jewellery made in Fairtrade Gold? For approximately 10% more we can make it so. Fairtrade Gold jewellery is part of our ‘fair’ collection of stories, alongside our non-Burmese rubies, non-conflict area stones and fair pay for all of our employees.
If you think about it, ‘fair’ really is a pretty good word. It means that everyone is happy with their piece of the pie, no one’s trying to swindle anyo...ne else, and no one is trying to profit from someone else’s misfortune.
We’ve always tried to be fair here at Stephen Einhorn. We think it’s fair that our local community should benefit from a thriving business so we support it, we want our wages to be fair (not minimum), we make sure the precious stones that we use in our jewellery don’t come from countries where human rights abuses are rife.
Fairness is something we have always considered and which we give great importance to. Which brings us to Fairtrade Gold. We have long used recycled gold our men’s and women’s fine jewellery, which we will continue to do. This gold has been in the supply chain for hundreds of years, it may have been in computer chips, pirate bullion, or an old beloved broach, and it has its own story because of this. Our Fairtrade Gold jewellery is a brand new story, another to add to our ‘fair’ collection alongside non-Burmese rubies and adult labour.
Fairtrade Gold means that the people who mine the gold – just like Fairtrade farmers of coffee or tea – get a decent price for the raw material. It means it’s mined using safe working practices including the management of toxic chemicals, such as mercury and cyanide which can be harmful to both environment and miner. It means that Fairtrade Standards are met regarding working conditions, health and safety, handling chemicals, women’s rights, child labour and protection of the environment.
You will be paying a little extra for jewellery made from Fairtrade Gold, so that small-scale miners and their communities can benefit from its sale with a minimum guaranteed price. In addition, miners receive the Fairtrade Premium of 10% which goes towards the social, environmental and economic development of their community. The additional cost of having a piece of Stephen Einhorn jewellery made in Fairtrade Gold is approx. 10% on top of the standard retail price.
After trying to be as ethically sound as we could, it finally became possible for us to use a certifiable, Fairtrade Gold stamp. Doesn’t that pie taste good now? So you now have the option when buying a piece of men’s or women’s fine jewellery from us, or commissioning a bespoke jewellery design, to pay a bit extra for the Fairtrade Gold. You get to choose the story you want. It’s only fair.

Our Halo collection is one of our most popular collections… And we have a little treat for you, as we bring our very new, very lovely, Halo 3 Micro Cluster ring to your attention. It has everything our other Halo engagement rings have to offer and sits perfectly next to our Halo wedding and eternity rings, but is slightly smaller. Utterly gorgeous https://bit.ly/2M6Ojsq

A gorgeous bespoke charm commissioned by one of our very imaginative customers...this is a quote from the person who received this special gift. “I was thinking of asking you for their email so I could let them know how happy I was and how I loved and appreciated all the work and attention they put into it. I wanted to thank them for making it so special. So thank you for doing that 😘❤️” Ginny and Willy Templar.

An engagement ring is one of the most special pieces of jewellery you will either buy or be given. It symbolises a wonderful, lifelong intention to love. Head over to our new women's and men's engagement ring section where you will be sure to find a ring that’s as special as the one you love https://bit.ly/2v67ZBi

In honour of Pride in London 2018 we are going to donate 10% of this weekends sales to the charity Stonewall. Their mission is to let all lesbian, gay, bi and trans people, here and abroad, know they’re not alone. We need to do all we can to make the world a better place and that starts with education which in turn leads to acceptance. So let us all stand together today and have some fun whilst supporting our fellow human beings at Pride in London #PrideMatters. We can’t wait to see all your wonderful photos from this years’s parade. Paint the town red and orange and yellow and green… And any other colour you fancy!

Someone contacted us recently to say… “Why do you still have a gay and lesbian section? Surely we are all the same now? Isn’t this ghettoisation?”
We would love to say… Yes! You are absolutely right. There is no longer prejudice, everyone in the LGBTI community is treated equally, but sadly we know this is not true. We launched our e-commerce store in 1997, and have always had a gay and lesbian wedding and commitment jewellery section.
If there where no longer instances when ...a gay or lesbian couple or a transgender person and partner go into a shop to buy wedding rings and are made to feel uncomfortable, then we would probably also feel that we no longer needed this section and would change it. Yes we are all the same, we are all humans but sadly society doesn’t always see differences between us that way, and the reality is that a lot of retailers and sales assistants are not as open minded. Why should you have such a special occasion and what should be an exciting experience spoilt by some narrow minded idiot?
If everyone in the whole world was accepting of the LGBTI community, wouldn’t that be great?
We sell globally not just in the UK and we all know that there are countries where you will be imprisoned or even face a death sentence simply for being yourself. So… until these things change we want all our customers to feel accepted and wanted. We want our customers to see by looking at our website that we welcome you, we value you, whoever you are.
Here at Stephen Einhorn we can make anything in any size in any style as we make it all ourselves here in London. We make luxury jewellery for everyone. We can make whatever you want, whatever you need for that special day. If we don’t have your size, just ask us about it, we can accommodate all of you. Most of our jewellery is made to order.

What's not to love about this stunning, unique jewellery? I was given a necklace in rice grey pearls which was a little too short, but within days of returning it it had been adjusted and is now the perfect length. Wonderful to know their customer service is as great as the beautiful jewellery itself. Thank you!

User

We just love our wedding rings, and received excellent customer service from the team in the shop. Thank you so much for contributing to our special day!

User

The team at Stephen Einhorn have just created for me a gorgeous white gold and diamond ring in their curved air design. The diamond was from a pair of stud earrings - one of which I had lost - that had huge sentimental value for me. To be able to wear it again in its new setting is an absolute joy! Thank you again!

User

Thank you for an amazing experience of fully customised engagement ring, from sourcing a range of stones for selection to customising the design. It has been a beautiful experience that will last a lifetime! It made our most important moment even more special!

User

Stephen and Kirsty : your customer care is the best I have ever experienced. I have an amazing piece of art to wear as a symbol of everlasting love and it is thanks to both of you and your team's help that I will have it to enjoy in pristine condition.

I look forward to thanking you all personally in the near future.

Thanks for making a difference and proving you are as special as the pieces you craft.

I've been a customer here for years, and have always experienced a very personal shopping experience.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and of course the designs themselves are superb.

Some of the pieces we have are "standards" in our collection, and we invariably get asked where they came from when worn.

Stephen Einhorn is my jeweller of choice for any occasion.

User

I was lucky enough to win a beautiful bangle and I adore it. Fantastic quality, superb packaging, perfect customer service from start to finish, with a personal touch, and better than anything, the start of my Stephen Einhorn Collection. Thank you, i love it. Xx

User

I have several Stephen Einhorn charms for my bracelet and also a couple of earrings. The quality and design are all exceptional. In addition, the customer service here is excellent. I take my pieces in for a bit of tlc every few months and I am aways well looked after.

User

I have purchased numerous items from SE including my beloved halo engagement ring and wedding band.

The online service is quick and reliable and the girls in the store are incredibly knowledgeable and always very patient with me when I can be rather indecisive!

The quality of the jewellery and detail of the craftsmanship is fantastic. Going into the store is always such a pleasure – the only problem is that I always want to buy more!

User

I have been in your shop in Islington London, and find the staff are so friendly and helpful. I love your jewellery designs .

User

I bought a silver ring for my partner. We were looking for something simple yet original and the jump 6 ring with topaz is perfect. I ordered on line and was worried that the ring may not be as amazing as it looked on screen. Worry not, it is even better! We both love it. It arrived in a couple of days beautifully packaged and the after sales has been first class. We hope to visit your shop one day. THANK YOU.

User

From the moment the box, arrived, I couldn't believe the quality and the attention to detail. Inside the box was a hand written thank you from Stephen. Wrapped in burgundy tissue paper with a gold wax seal was a small bag tied with a ribbon, followed by a small jewellery box and a booklet containing a cleaning cloth. Inside the box..... my beautifully hand made silver skull label pin. This little chap now resides on my best suit and will get his first outing tonight! I was so impressed I felt I had to write the review and say thank you.

You just made yourself a customer for life.

User

Excellent customer service: personal, considered and relaxed. Lisa and Kirsty really took their time to talk my fiancé and I through their pieces and all the options that were available to us. We were really spoilt for choice but finally decided what was right for us and we really LOVE our rings. The quality is excellent and they are really beautiful. It's so nice to see an independent jeweller really standing out on a stylish London street.

User

Best in class in sourcing the most precious stones and creating jewels, wonderful team that understands you and your girlfriend (well, I shall say fiancé now! Haha!). An amazing experience!

Thank you thank you thank you!!

User

Absolutely love my ring!

I've always wanted to find a skull ring that would still be discreet and feminine. So the small skull ring is perfect! Especially with the added touch of diamonds. Ordering online was easy and received emails with constant updates on my piece being specially hand made for me. Could not fault the service I received.

User

Absolutely LOVE my Stephen Einhorn charm bracelet. It's gorgeous and always much admired whenever I wear it. The charms are really unusual and the detailing is wonderful - I get a new one every year for my birthday (10 so far) and I love all of them. Thank you!!

This company has the worst customer service I've ever come across....

Terrible company....

Flimsy jewellery that comes apart... Visually very beautiful product but for how much it cost we don't expect it to break on more than one occasion with in a few months of having it.. First time the bracelet broke customer service were unwilling to cover the cost for the repair even though the product was clearly faulty but after a lot of back and forth comments they decided they would cover the cost of the repair... After having it back for around 2 weeks it's broken again but this time we were not fortunate enough to find the bracelet... After complaining to customer service they were just completely unwilling to take responsibility for the fact they have sold a faulty product... Absolute waste of time and money will never recommend wasting your money with this company. There are many branded companies out there that have fantastic customer service and are willing to help their buyers.. For a "luxury" jewellery company I'm absolutely baffled at how awful your customer service is and how flimsy your product are... People on the phone are So robotic
