My name is Tim Bodman, I’ve recently visited your dealership in Woolwich and I purchased an X3 for my family as I previously had a BMW 118 convertible which was far too small. I’ve honestly been let down by so many BMW dealerships locally I decided to go further afield as I live between Bexley and Maidstone and straight away Louis showed such enthusiasm and I can hand on my heart say Louis looked into everything we was asking for and supported us fully throughout the whole deal, he was so helpful and made both myself and my family including two young children feel welcomed and comfortable on each visit. I think he is an asset to BMW and his dedication to the job should be rewarded as he is probably the best salesman I’ve dealt with through all my years of buying cars. I brought a car from Stephen James at Christmas (17) I had an issue in March when a botched repair came to light (not originally carried out by BMW) Two stand out levels of service from Mike Gibson and Nicola Power were amazing. They just took the problem away and dealt with it and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be getting my next BMW from these guys. Thank you.

I bought my new 5 Series from Steohen James in Enfield, the whole process was excellent. Said El Bouchikhi was my contact who was very helpful in managing all the paperwork whilst keeping me informed of all progress from negotiating the trade in value of my old car to the purchase of my new 5 series.



I received a video of the new car before going to the dealer which was brilliant as it allowed me to view the car and decide whether I wanted to proceed to test drive or not. Not something I have seen before!



Said also transferred my music from my old car into the new 5 series, something I was worried about losing.



All in all a very good experience, I would recommend this dealership to anyone, ask for Said. A very big thumbs up.

Excellent service at the Enfield branch...staff went out of their way to make the purchase of my mini as easy as possible. On collecting my car they had even added a “Birthday Bow” amazing. The car was spotless and looked spectacular. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Enfield SJ generally a good experience. Took my car in and got a slot for service to be done the same day.



4* Adrian service team manage was a very friendly person who did try to help out with timings of service and fairly accurate. I did hope for a replacement car while waiting but there wasn't one available



5* Forhad from parts had fantastic customer services skill and was very helpful in liasing with the services team with parts etc.



4* Overall a good experience though the cost of service was quite steep and the car could have been cleaner, looked like a rushed Hoover job

Today I got a call back and thankfully all has been resolved. A member of staff apologised and listened carefully at what I had to say. I am more that satisfied with the outcome. I can see they did their very best to sort things out for me. Thank you. I will up my star rating.

@Woolwich branch - have dealt a few times with the dealership .. it seems from reception to every corner (sales to service support) the essence of customer service is not understood. There is a serious lack of customer centric professionals - in every aspect the individuals are defensive rather than proactive and responsive support. Next car will definitely not be BMW... and that’s nothing to do with the car but everything with the experience @ dealership.

Walk into Stephen James BROMLEY with problem on X series paño roof. Staff more interested in talking about plans for the weekend than actually doing their job and... I was the only customer in store.



Complaint issued to Lex Lease Auto as won’t be using this branch again and will ask that they review their preferred suppliers list for the SE area for us Company Car drivers



Company car users is easy money to BMW and they should teach their staff to have a little more gratitude towards this business.

Terrible customer service, couldn’t get through to speak to anyone and nobody bothered calling me back. Unless you’re spending £000’s on a new car they just aren’t interested. Ended up going to Sytner Loughton instead who were very helpful

Terrible Service from Woolwich. Received a manual car eventhough I had ordered an automatic. Purchased the car through CarWow which has the specs of Automatic.



Invoice has all the small details but failed to mention the transmission, so I did not realize. Been told it is my fault as I should have known manual is by default and would not appear on the invoice even though I am first time buyer.

I was pressured into taking the manual as I was only given 3 hours to decide if i wanted to keep the manual or get an automatic in 2 months for which i will receive a lower discount and higher price.



Furthermore, requested to remove the model number of the car. This information is on the invoice. But the car contained the model number. I was told I should come the next day and get this removed and promised there will be no marks on the car. This sums up their customer service.

Repeatedly shocking service from SJ Bromley over the 4 years I've been a customer. It's impossible to get a service in the first place and when by some miracle I did get that service earlier this year they failed to properly fix a faulty windscreen washer and suggested that I was at fault for not using BMW's own brand windscreen fluid, despite the headlights and rear screen washers working perfectly fine! Low and behold a week later the windscreen washer failed again, and now I'm wasting my life away on hold trying to get it booked in. Honestly their service is so poor I am highly unlikely to buy another can from them.

I have to say that having been a loyal customer of Stephen James Blackheath for years (9) the customer service in the last 2 years has definitely gone down hill! On Monday 1st Aug I called them for a quote on an inspection 2 for my E46 M3, after being passed from one person to the next and being on hold for a few minutes I was informed that their system was down and they could not give me an estimate cost. I was kindly offered to be called back later with a quote. Was I expecting too much to have a call back the same day? Well I received no call back at all and it has been 6 days. I called them today only to be informed that their system was still down which I find highly unlikely. Miraculous they found the price for an inspection 2 which was about £200 more than advertised on the poster they have on the wall next to the coffee machine, behind the plant pot and next to the back office door. When I questioned this I was told there is no such poster. So I must have imagined the poster with the blue E46 M3 convertible advertising value service for this particular model. Never mind Stephen James I will happily give my hard earned cash to one of the 5 other garages that could be bothered to give me a quote, either by phone, email or call back.

DO NOT USE THIS DEALER. My BMW M6 recently had a full failure of the braking system, due to the condition (corrosion) of the brake pipes. When the service manager and his team were made aware, no investigation to the possibility they may have made a mistake was considered, they requested no photos or details. The car had been under their care for nearly 5 years, it has a BMW FSH, BMW Extended Warranty and BMW MOTs. Stephen James displayed to myself that; they have no concept of human error, possible complacency, internal review process for improvement, to boil it all down- I believe they are not safe.

BMW WOOLWICH avoid at all costs. Rescinded on a car deal promising free extras to get my money that I found out later had been put in finance against my name. Called me & my wife liers that tipped the balance. Unscrupulous salesmen that disappear into the wind and won’t call you back. My advice is to stay well clear. In hindsight I should have the online reviews about this particular ‘chain’ of BMW garages.

Absolute joke lied through there teeth if your going to lie stick to the same story I am never buying another bmw poor customer service have no clue and just say blame bmw uk not our fault
