What a lovely place. I was visiting Stroud on business and was welcomed and given complementary access to the gym even though I'm not going to join but I will be visiting again this week. Its nice to know I can keep up my gym sessions even when I'm away from home..think the trainers name was Amy

User

Lots of classes to go to but could let more people on the aqua on the nights the whole pool is used! People find the pool too cold but I prefer it as I swim for fitness not for a social! Good value membership! Friendly staff! Canā€™t really fault it!

User

I want to thank the staff, who have been very helpful, I'm disabled and started coming swimming with a friend ( who helps me ), but she can't always come, I decided to try and come on my own, I'm so glad I did, with the help I get, i can now come more than once a week to help with my road to recovery x

User

I contacted Stratford park today about swimming for my 3 year old daughter. The lady I spoke to was so lovely and helpful. I went today. Not been for a number of years. Had a great time, will be returning, staff were so helpful and nice. A credit to have this resource available to us. 5* from me. You couldnā€™t have done any more. Thank you ļæ½

User

Had an initial GP referral appointment last week with Sherri, I couldn't have been more happy. Her knowledge and experience of my medical conditions and the best ways for me to carry on what I've started with my physio were spot on. Thank you, look forward to to starting next week

User

Good value for money . Lovely and clean.

User

Completed a spin class this evening for the first time and it was brilliant! (even though i did sweat a lot!) But it was totally worth it. Also a massive thanks to Sophie for recommending me to do the spin class.

User

Having to book a week in advance is fab, but maybe those who attend the classes at the centre on a weekly basis need to get the first option of booking on to the class then release general. I pay a monthly fee to attend and at present, I am not getting good value for money. Sort it, else I will go elsewhere. taking my and others memberships.

User

Great gym with plenty of equipment. Changing rooms seen better days

User

Beautiful pool, just a shame that on the hottest day of the year the whole pool wasn't open especially as the todler pool was closed today. Just felt the place needed a bit of love but we had a lovely time

User

We did a swim party for my son's 9th Birthday here, the swimming pool was fine, and there were 2 life guards on duty, and the kid's had fun swimming around in the pool.

The party in cafe though wasn't at a very good standard, the staff in the cafe left and went home, and left us alone, and they didnā€™t seem to care about us or my son.

We expected to have staff there as there was food, but we were left to serve the food and we didnā€™t have any anyone around to clear up or help us.

I wasn't very impressed that we paid a good amount of money for this party, and yet we didnā€™t get very good service at all.

It wasn't on that the staff just left and went home, yet they knew, we had booked the party.

I wouldn't recommend the cafe for the party bit, I wouldn't book another party here.

I would rather take my son and his friends to Mc Donald's or Burger king where we would probably have better service and a better party?

Sorry to be negative, but why was it we were left without any cafe staff to help serve my son's party?

Poor.

A let down, when it was my son's birthday party.

User

The kids love swimming there even tho its colder than the artic. I find the way its sectioned off is unreal and for no apparent reason. Why does someone not swimming have to pay a swimmers full price! Could do with an update but it serves a purpose!

User

I will just refer the outdoor pool. It was the only thing I used. The first thing I noticed is absence of tickets. If this is supported by the council how come there is no tickets? Just a girl keeping away the money. I can imagine when nobody is looking. And if you want to complain?...

The swimming pool was dirty and there was a lot of waste floating in the water. And I won't comment how was the bottom of the pool.

There is a lot of lawn but not that much shade all around. There should be showers for the users to get into the water (apart from the changing rooms).

The lifeguards are aware and always on the spot. I liked it!

User

First visit of the year to the outdoor pool today , what a shambles of a place .. children pool shut - not informed by main reception , only one end of the pool open due to lack of staff also with the only end that was open which was over taken by teenagers... Sort It OUT SDC ļæ½ļæ½

User

Definitely needs to be heated on the majority of days. Showers on the 18th were scalding. Blue handrails need to be sorted as are sticky and leave blue paint on your hands! Cafe needed because on a boiling hot day you want to be able to get a drink! Lockers need to be bigger and cubicles need to be tidied up. Whole pool should be open all the time not cordoned off.. some outdoor showers would be good. Shaded areas for young kids is a must. It could be really lovely with some minor adjustments.

User

The outdoor pool fascilities are dirty and dilapidated. The changing rooms have broken ceiling tiles, chipped paint and disgusting floors. The outdoor pool itself has seating covered in mound - everything is black and filthy. Definitely not the place to recommend for a fun family day out!

User

Swimming pool - dirty water! So much so that you can see lots of bits just floating around. Bottom feels slimy and it's cold. Had to get out after 20 mins because my little boy was shaking so much. Changing rooms tidy but again, slimy feeling to the floor. Not nice at all and having to pay Ā£10 just for an adult and a child! I'll stick to going to Tewksbury. More of a drive but at least the pools clean and not freezing cold

User

Such misleading webpage, nothing about swimming lessons they leave it blank, Other customets moaning as we left same issue misleading webpage. Hardly any early morning public swimming except Sunday, it's all about making profit with private swimming lessons. This is not a public pool but a private enterprise....Hottest summer and the outdoor pool opens at 11 with restricted use of the pool, in other words because they won't employ any more lifeguards they open half the pool...Stroud district council do your job....you own the contract...make it a public service or privatise it, and remove the ambiguity....

User

My son has lessons here which are really good but today I called to see what time the pool was open so we could have a swim and was told that there is a fun swim session at 1:15 so I made my way over for 1oclock to be told itā€™s sold out when I arrive Iā€™m not happy as the receptionist didnā€™t mention booking a space when I called I now have a very upset little one and a waste of a journey from Gloucester ļæ½
