Strathclyde University Labour Club (Sulc) Description
The Strathclyde University Labour Club is here to promote politics and progressive ideas and get people involved with the Labour Party. Scottish Labour is the biggest socialist voice in Scotland and our role is to deliver that to the University.

We look forward to defending our record in the upcoming Scottish Local Council Elections in 2017, we believe the only way to protect local services is to elect local Scottish Labour representatives. Our club will seek to campaign within the university for the rights of students and university staff. We will always stand up and give voice to those who need it and our campaign efforts will highlight this.
If you're with us come along to our meetings, campaign alongside us and together we can ensure that Labour is ready and willing to win the next General and Scottish Parliament elections.

We have also elected the Scottish Labour Party's fantastic Westminster candidate in West Dunbartonshire, Jean Anne Mitchell, as our honorary President. We look forward to be out supporting you and ensuring your seat is a #LabourGain at the next General Election.
In addition, this is the first committee to have actively decided to not reaffiliate to Labour Students. This club will always stand up for its members and we won’t accept the anti-democratic procedures carried out from above.
