Wow, what a brilliant show. It is full of energy, fun and at times humour making a fantastic event resulting in you wanting more ! Both the lead roles were performed and acted perfectly with solid support . While the show is a team effort I must mention the performance of Fernando Mira as Rico the father of Fran. Fernando was powerful and to be honest increased the excitement of the show. He Appears a genuine talent who was focussed and captivated the audience with his flamenco dancing and strong acting. I recommend Strictly Ballroom theatrical show to everyone.

Wow what a show!! Didn’t want it to end, we will be back to watch it again x

What an absolute delight it was. Would go and see it again, and again and again. Will Young was superb and his singing was fantastic. The rest of the cast were brilliant the dancing great and it was performed to perfection. It was such a laugh. Thank you all. Xx

What a wonderful show. Everything about it was marvellous- will young has an amazing voice and he is great in the part. The dancing is amazing, as was the acting. I really enjoyed it and will be going back!

What a great musical! They have managed to keep to the film quite well - very enjoyable with the audience waiting for and cheering when the specific lines come ‘that was unexpected!’ Final dance scene good but difficult to translate he film one with a big dance space to a small stage. If you loved the film you will love this musical.

What a fun girls night out. My face was hurting from laughing so much! Will Young was hilarious and in great voice all night as was Scott’s mum in particular but there were so many brilliant moments and the cast looked like they were having a really good time. We sat right at the front and it was great not too close apart from when Scott Hastings almost landed in our laps � during the finale slide! :)))This is a great show. See the movie first so you can really appreciate it (it’s just a great movie so

You should watch it anyway) but you won’t be disappointed if you went in cold.

Translates so well to stage. Loved the film so I had high expectation for the stage production and it didn’t disappoint

The show is truly superb! Breathtakingly good performances from the whole cast, I would recommend this to anyone, and can’t wait to see it again.

The most awesome musical ever! The whole cast and crew worked seamlessly as a tight, well rehearsed, unit to make this an absolute spectacle to behold.



It was pure joy to watch with the most wonderful dancing, singing (Will: you rock!), scripting, music, directing and costumes. A feast for the senses.



You managed to pull me in for the emotional bits but left me with the sheer and utter joy of life thereafter... Just like the film.



Thank you for your hard work and for giving it your all. Good luck with the show. It's got legs.

One of the very best productions I have ever see. I must admit, only went to see Will Young, but whole cast is excellent. Great fun.

Loved it so much, I’m going again in October! Brilliant production, fantastic cast, if you liked the film, you’ll love the show. Go!

I’m a huge fan of the film, and wondered how it would translate to the stage, but have to say I shouldn’t have worried. Adding a narrator/MC keeps everything moving along, and the core story and all the relationships are all preserved well.



Pretty much pitch perfect casting throughout. Will Young may be the most recognised name on the list, and the whole ensemble does an excellent job, but the stand-out for me was Zizi Strallen as Fran. Alternating between awkward, geeky, fragile, feisty, and adorable, her face will probably be the one I see when I think of the character now - her performance was nothing short of stellar.

It's was brilliant and got to meet will young and Johnny it's was so funny

I left feeling elated with a great big grin on my face excellent dancing comedy and most importantly the feel good factor :-)

I have just got back from a truly wonderful, uplifting and funny musical. Strictly ballroom did not disappoint it WAS the film but on stage and the whole cast made it an experience i would pay for again. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

I hadn't seen the film so didn't know what to expect. I can honestly say I absolutely loved this show & the cast were fabulous. Great songs, great dance numbers & Will Young was fantastic. This is a show that lifts your spirits & as far as i could see the entire audience was stood for the finale. I clapped so hard my hands hurt & whooped & cheered so much my throat's sore. Loved it xx

Half way through and I’m crying with laughter!! The dancing and costumes are amazing, the story comes across so well and the comedy is spot on!! Fingers up to the ‘stage’ rating of two, full 5 stars from me and my possie!!

So close to the stage edge it felt like I was in the show performing on stage with the Dancers ���.

A wonderful Show, sparkles, Cheese, glamour and plenty of laughs! Truly uplifting and fun, my only gripe is after we were at the stage door, and saw some youngsters waiting for autographs outside ,some with special needs, and I was horrified to watch Will Young scurry past them with no acknowledgement just talking to his dogs and also Jonny Labey just talking to a friend who was there, I felt really sorry for those people there faces were of real disappointment, and I felt the behaviour was extremely rude! Will Young could have given 5 mins of his time before walking his dogs as could of Johnny, after all these are the people who recommended the show and keep the tickets selling paying there wages, I would seriously recommend someone have a word, and teach them some manners !

A feast for the eyes, great dancing, fan cast, very funny, and Will Young was brill...a real performer. If you're in London, do it, you'll walk out with singing & dancing with a grin from ear to ear.
