Well done to everyone, but particular praise goes to the 9 SVRC members who all achieved pb's! 😊😊😀
If you're one of the many unlucky ones not to get a place in the London marathon next April (congratulations if you did!), have a look at this list and maybe try one of these instead! https://www.runnersworld.co.uk/…/15-ama zing-uk-marathons-th…

Wishing all you London Marathoners out there all the very best of everything for Sunday! Please heed all the 'running in the heat' advice coming at you, and make sure that you are properly hydrated before you start. And don't forget the sunscreen!
Massive congratulations to our very own Charlotte Mustafic who completed the Paris Marathon today in what can only be described as unseasonable heat - so hot in fact that the Paris Fire brigade (or whatever the French equivalent is!) were hosing down the runners to keep them cool! Considering Char’s last training run had her battling against snow drifts and minus temperatures, you can appreciate just how well she did today. Also deserving of a special mention is Lucy of the... Cotswold Allrunners who completed the Manchester Marathon in an excellent time. No where near as hot as Paris, the temperatures still doubled from 7 to 14 during the race. Congratulations to everyone else who took part in Manchester, Paris or any other marathon, or even a half (as SVRC’s Leanne did). You’re an inspiration to every runner yet to tackle those distances!
