always stayed in hotels in this location but found this on line and honestly anyone who wants b&b in this area should book in at sunbank. the place is 5 star and Sam and Simon are the best hosts ever.

What a magical and fantastic, relaxing time we've had over the last two days in your yurt! It's a great mix of luxury and 'outdoors' living, and all in such a spectacular setting. All the little touches were so thoughtful, right down to hot water bottles, milk ready for a welcoming cuppa and fresh eggs this morning! Lovely to meet you and your family - we'd definitely love to come back :)

One teeensy thing - a blind at the yurt's bathroom window?! I know it was only the cows watching but....!!!

We've have just got back from a lovely week in Llangollen. The cottage is perfect in every way. Every room is to a very high standard. The views are amazing. I miss my morning tea sat on the decking looking at the beautiful views. My son loved the chickens. Lovely walks down the canal to the aquaduct nearby and in to Llangollen. Sam the owner is very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely be returning. Thanks for having us. Miss this place already!! Xxx

We have just returned from an amazing weekend away in the luxury yurt, it was a totally amazing experience it could not of been better, such a perfect little hideaway in the best location, already booked our return visit and cannot wait

We have just got home after a relaxing weekend stay in the beautiful yurt.Sam was such a warm and welcoming host who came to greet us personally following our later than expected arrival, ensuring we were comfortable-even going to fetch us a jug of milk so we could make a cup of tea. Loved waking up to gorgeous views.would definitely recommend visiting this beautiful place, we will definitely be returning...look out for the free roaming hen - full of character and just adds to the charm of the place. We had the most perfect night in your yurt last night! Thank you so much for making it extra special. Only in Wales do you get Daffodils and snow! The electric blanket was a very welcomed addition when the snow flakes started to fall � We were very cosy and happy. We will see you again next year for our first anniversary. Linsay and Phil x

This place is a MUST lovely warm & cosy. We stayed in the cottage for 3 nights and didn't want to leave. Unfortunately we didn't meet the owners as they were away but upgraded us to the cottage as we were meant to stay in the Cowshed which suited us lovely as we could also bring our Dog. Thank you guy's we hope to meet you on our next visit xx

The Yurt is a lovely, cosy, romantic place to stay. We’ve just spent two idyllic days there, warm and toasty, with the log burner and electric blanket. The little kitchen in the shed has everything you need, and the loo and shower room are spotless. We will return and will recommend to friends.

Stayed in the cowshed with my husband , what a fantastic room and on suite .Sam and Simon are amazing hosts and breakfast was delious. Can't wait to come back in November to stay in the cottage for hubby's birthday . Love love loved it x

Stayed in the Glamping Yurt for my birthday, what a perfect weekend it was! Excellent hosts, beautiful location and the prettiest accommodation in the land! Would take a weekend nestled in the hills over a city break any day. Can't wait to come back in the winter and get the log burner going :) thanks for making our stay amazing xx

Spent 3 days here and it was amazing. The cottage was just beautiful, spacious and immaculate. The scenery was gorgeous and we really didn't want to leave. I will be rebooking and can't wait to go back x

Lovely stay in the B&B. Amazing views, fabulous bathroom and cosy room. Owners were very friendly, accommodating and couldn't do more to make to make sure happy and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, all locally sourced. A lovely place to stay, would visit again.

Just returned from a 5 night stay at Sunbank Cottage, it was absolutely beautiful both the cottage, the views and the surrounding area. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed and more and was so cosy and welcoming. We will definitely be returning in the future

Just on our way home from a lovely weekend in the yurt ....absolutely stunning location beautiful accommodation with some amazing views ...Samantha was so welcoming as was her husband and beautiful girls ....already booked again for April ! Loved everything about this place ...fantastic!!

Just back from an over night stay in the Yurt, it was beautiful, very pretty everything you need to hand, thank you for making us feel welcome, we had a lovely night!

Have just returned from a lovely 3 night new years break in the cottage. We didn't want to come home! Sam was lovely and prompt throughout the booking process and Simon greeted us with a friendly smile and lots of useful dog walking routes. The cottage is warm, homely and comfortable. The views over Llangollen were beauriful. I'm sure we will be back.

Fab place to stay,celebrated my parents golden wedding with a surprise weekend away with all the family together as some of the accommodation is larger...double bonus of this superb place was doggy friendly!!!as well as being superb if your into outside eating there is plenty of space and bbqing area to enjoy.but alas in november was not the best however even then excellent foto opportunities with the rising mist ,beautiful sun and of course many family fotos in front of the circlular "hole in the wall".see website youll see what i mean.xx

Beautiful retreat for a perfect night away. Was so relaxed, just unwound and chilled. Beautiful log burner, gorgeous bedding and comfortable bed to sink into followed by lovely bathroom facilities. Would certainly come back! Love the Ginger cat too who visited us! <3
