Chief Inspector Luke Mooney from the South Area Response Teams said.
... "Hate crime in any form is absolutely unacceptable and it will not be tolerated. We are committed to dealing robustly with all hate crime incidents and determined to bring offenders to justice. Please have confidence to report hate crime to the police, we need to stand solid as a community and we will do everything we can to stamp out hate crime."

#Missing Please help locate vulnerable missing person Kunaka Chinganga who is 15 years old. Kunaka is missing from Sutton and was last seen on 14/01/2020 at 0750 hours. He was last seen wearing a black hooded puffa style jacket. Please contact 101 quoting 20MIS001896.

Information from London Fire Brigade about a fire in Sutton this morning:
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a shop with flats above on Brighton Road in Sutton.
Part of a five roomed flat on the third floor and part of a five roomed flat on the second floor were damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
... The Brigade was called at 0630 and the fire was under control by 0731. Fire crews from Sutton, Wallington and Mitcham fire stations attended.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
