Swale CVS acts as a support and development organisation and exists to champion and strengthen local charities, voluntary organisations and community group

Swale Community And Voluntary Services Description

Swale Community and Voluntary Services (SCVS) is recognised as a high quality, leading support and development organisation providing a variety of services for the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS), local people, the public and private sectors across the Borough of Swale and in partnership with other like minded bodies across Kent.

SCVS encourages, promotes and facilitates regular volunteering and engagement in local
communities, supporting local people to help themselves and each other. Volunteers are vital to any community and we actively advocate innovation and opportunities for all. Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers are proud to provide core services of a council for voluntary service (CVS) and Volunteer Centre (VC).

We also share expertise and experiences in areas such as project management, training,
consultancy and community engagement, facilities and services on behalf of the voluntary, public and private sectors.
