visited here today and it took my breath away. they have some lovely fresh and salt water fish for sale as well as some nice looking tanks.

Visited today as a family to get some pond plants. There was a great choice, the prices were good and the service was brilliant, in particular Matt(I think?) who helped us choose our plants. The kids also loved all the fish and birds. Would definitely recommend and be visiting again.

Swallows Aquatics has grow a lot in recent years. It is a fantastic place to browse, shop and you'll be hard pushed to ask a question that the staff don't know how to answer. Their reptile section is especially fantastic! The price is higher than some other places, but you get good products and a fantastic service, so it's definitely worth it!

Purchased my African giant Bullfrog yesterday and I must say what fantastic service and very polite staff.

Purchased a lot of fish from here over the years but today was the day we finally bought our Tiger Oscar. He is wonderful and loves his new home! Thanks!

Love this place. Great customer service. We got our bearded dragon, lots of fish and 3 giant prickly stick insects from here.

I went today with my son to have a look around , and spoke to a lovely young man would took the time and trouble to show my son the geckos, and answered all of our questions, a great place and very friendly knowledge staff thank you �

Great place. Just purchased full tortoise set up from here today and the guy( Anthony I believe) was beyond helpful. Very knowledgeable and as I knew nothing about what I needed he explained every piece of equipment and what was best for a newbie. Very good place. Will certainly be using again

Excellent place to buy good quality fish. I buy all my fish here regardless to the distance. Never had any problems and my son really enjoys seeing everything for sale there although i refuse to buy him a snake.

Staff are excellent, always cheerful & happy to help with anything.

Excellent advice and so much choice! My pond fish love the new food thanks to the advice given �

After being given poor information on baby bearded dragons, we went in to speak with Evan!! Absolutely brilliant guy, lots of knowledge and nothing was to much trouble. Would recommend anyone with questions on reptiles see this chap👍👍👍👍👍

A chap helped me with the fish, frogs and snails that I had chosen and he was so helpful and cheerful. Obviously loves his job.

Have a good range of fish but in general are over priced on a fair amount of species and service is very slow spend a long amount of time at the counter waiting to be seen In my honest opinion need more staff especially in the live stock department but apart from this they do try to Guide and help you where they can.

The manager needs to learn some people skills. A staff member had captured an escaped snake and was letting my daughter look at it at my request. The manager wandered past with a coffee in his hand and rudely instructed the staff member to put the snake back.

I visited today for some fish tank maintenance items , when entering the aquatics centre you walk through the small bird section , I literally felt so sad and stood watching all the birds for a while ... they have no toys what so ever in there cages �why ?? They all look so so board especially the parakeets that are £1000 that are on there own , the cages should have plenty to keep the occupied they look on shutdown mode and board , they all also do not have any fresh veg or treat sticks , I genuinely felt awful for every single cage , they were clean don’t get me wrong and the condition of the birds were ok ish ! . The aquatics bit on the other hand was very good , I purchased all I needed and the fish tanks were amazing ! Please sort out the poor birds , u may sell more if they are happy and people see how playful they can be .

Normally pretty good fish department but today must have got someone who knew naff all so I wanted 2

celebs rainbows 3 threadfin rainbows and 2 pencil fish when I got home in celebs bag had 1 celebs and God knows what the other fish is in the threadfin bag I had 2 threads and a splash tetra in pencil fish bag 1 pencil and a splash tetra really can't be bothered to take them all back as its Abit of a trek moral of this story is check what's in the bag before you go home!

My £55 tang was dead within the week! 4 days and already on its side at the bottom of my tank.
