Swanley Boxing Club

Another great night at our show last week at the Alexandra suite , we were so proud of all our boxers who competed on the show , some of the boxers having there first ever bouts aswell , Thanks to everyone’s generosity on the night and the great prizes that were kindly donated for the raffle ,we raised £2000 for the Henry Boswell care fund , which was to support young Henry a champion boxer of ours and a very brave young man who is fighting cancer at the moment ,Thank you to everyone involved in making the night possible

Jj kemp boxed Friday night in Waltham abbey for Swanley , Jj lost on a split decision that could of gone either way , great experience for him, he showed so much heart and commitment finishing the bout so strong, Well done 🥊

Two really good performances put in Friday night down in Faversham by Rhys Mayatt and Gilbert Jr Sagalla Both boxers winning on points , They will be getting ready to box again on our Swanley show Saturday 23rd November, Tickets available still

Mark Bridger and JJ Kemp both boxed last night at The Troxy against tough opposition , JJ got won on points ,Mark Bridger was involved in a very tough bout unfortunately didn’t get the decision , a busy season ahead 🥊

Good session put in tonight by some of our senior boxers, Mark Bridger and JJ Kemp are both boxing tomorrow evening Friday night at The Troxy Limehouse , Marks first fight back since winning the ABA title last season in June for Swanley 🥊

Great to see the junior boxers training so hard tonight , the young boxers training here have some real talent ,🥊

Well done to all the woman and young boxers in the class this evening , they really worked hard , if you would like to come along , Monday’s and Wednesday evenings , 6-7pm 🥊

Great to see Mark Bridger in the gym tonight showing his ABA Title he won Sunday to all the young boxers and passing on some good advice to them , never stop chasing your dreams 🥊

It was a very special day and night down in Folkestone Sunday for Swanley boxing club ,3 of our Boxers having bouts in the daytime doing us all so proud , followed then by watching Mark Bridger chasing his dream of becoming the SENIOR ABA Light -middleweight Champion a great achievement , Well done everyone🥊

We also had Two of our junior boxers on the Folkestone show yesterday afternoon boxing just before the championships Finals , Rhys Mayatt had his first boxing bout against a very tall strong opponent and unfortunately didn’t get the win ,and also Oliver Fischer who lost on a split points decision , both boys done our club proud and gained great experience ,we all learn and come back stronger

JJ Kemp kept up his winning record ,having his 3rd bout yesterday in the last 3 weeks for Swanley boxing club ,J done some real quality work at times and won on points against a strong undefeated boxer from Eastbourne abc

THERES ONLY ONE MARK BRIDGER and last night he became the SENIOR ABA LIGHT-MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION in Folkestone , it’s been a great journey for us all with quite a few ups and downs along the way, but he has showed so much commitment desire to get to the top and achieve his goal of becoming the CHAMP , now Mark will get to box for England on trips away Italy and Spain coming Up , We’re all so proud of you Bridger

Some of our Boxers last night in the ring with Mark Bridger,Mark is Boxing Sunday in the Senior ABA Final looking to become the light-middleweight champion at Lea Cliff Halls in Folkestone, it starts at 7 pm and you can pay on the door

Our Future Stars of Swanley Boxing Club , There was Some Quality sparring in the gym tonight by the juniors, They are a great group who work so hard 🥊

Well done Jj Kemp winning today at the Ta centre Bromley ,that’s 2 bouts in 2 weeks for Jj and stays undefeated, Took the bout at 3 days notice winning on a points decision , unfortunately Mark Bridger’s opponent pulled out of bout early this morning , so Mark now will box next Sunday in Folkestone in the Senior ABA Final , we will also have Jj boxing next Sunday before the championship Finals 🥊

Another good session tonight, running laps around the field with sprints and some technical sparring , we’ve got some real talent coming through from the juniors and senior boxers 🥊
