We had an afternoon tea here and absolutely loved the experience. The cafe is beautiful and the staff were lovely. The tea itself was one of the nicest I've ever had in terms of quality, variety and general scrumminess. I'll definitely be returning.

We had afternoon tea here today, as well as a wedding cake consultation. The sandwiches and cakes were beautiful, the staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful, not just to us but all their customers while we were there, and the actual tea room was elegantly decorated and very welcoming. We would recommend a visit here to anyone. Thank you for making our visit enjoyable. �

My second visit today and was more lovely than I remember. I took my daughter for her birthday with all the ladies in her life. She was so overwhelmed with her cake tier with all her goodies on. Also the staff was lovely to put a candle in her Ice cream and all sung happy birthday. We were all absolutely stuffed and had a lovely day.

My friend took me here today for my 30th Birthday present to have the vegan afternoon tea. It was absolutely delicious and the best vegan afternoon tea I’ve been to! Would totally recommend to any fellow vegans.

Lovely afternoon tea, the food was lush, bread melted in the mouth as it was so fresh, lovely warm scones, brilliant experience, would certainly recommend people and would go back again x

Just wanted to say a big thank you to lovely ladies at the sweet rose cakery!!! They did a lovely job of hosting my work friends baby shower and there was nothing they wouldn’t do to help us! The tables were decorated beautifully and they were happy to put up some decorations for us. We had such a lovely time and my friend was thrilled with the afternoon tea. We have another baby shower on the way and I think this will be our new go to venue!

I have visited here many times, for coffees and lunch and always had fabulous food and service. The ladies here are so friendly and attentive they will do anything for you. Today we had a team building day decorating drip cakes and had the most fantastic day. The instructions were clear, the cakes were of excellent quality and we had a great day ending up with fantastic looking cakes ready for our Macmillan coffee morning. Thank you to the lovely ladies at Sweet Rose Cakery :-)

Had Afternoon Tea with a twist. Instead of Sandwiches had a meat and cheese platter with hummus and olives. Absolutely lovely. Would definitely recommend

First visit to sweet rose cakery for my mum's birthday. It was really lovely and nothing was too much trouble. They got my son's special request order slightly wrong but soon got it sorted without any issue and everything was fine. Very friendly and will deffinately visit again. Thank you and mum loved it too.x

First visit here today as a treat for my daughter and we were not disappointed with our afternoon tea. I am vegetarian and my daughter is vegan and we were catered for superbly. The standard afternoon tea is top quality and excellent value . The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this very highly and will be booking again soon.

Always amazing. From a simple cuppa after school or breakfast in the morning to an afternoon tea. Fantastically friendly. I would choose these girls over any other place in Upminster every time. It's nice to go somewhere where you can have a chat and a cuppa and feel like it's home - except I don't do the washing up. Deffos recommend �
