Big shout out to our neighbours and my salon of choice!

Friday flowers because I think we’ve earned them after the storms and general half term madness we’ve had this week. Maria @atlastfloristry is back with us today and there’s lots of new season stock to browse. In the meantime, I’ll be out to collecting some goodies from @joinhandcrafted for the shop. Come in and see us, we’re open 10am - 5pm today

I baked an apple crumble and took this photo a few months ago to show off our range of @falconenamel dishes. I’ve happily filed this little exercise under ‘things I do for social media’ . Shooting in natural light is key to the look and feel of my brand and it helps me to tell our story on social media. . On this particular day, I was working from home when suddenly the sun came out. Good winter light is hard to come by so when you get it you have to get creative immediately.... . A stack of photos similar to this one was the result and I have to say that I really love them, looking at them makes me smile. I think it has something to do with the wholesomeness of apples and the vintage charm of enamelware. What do you think? . Bonjour! One I took in Paris at the weekend. We stayed in a fancy pants apartment and I never travel without an equally fancy @elizabethscarlett pouch. I use them to keep important things such as my passport and phone charger, they are so handy and so beautifully made I can’t live without them!

Looks like we won’t be putting our coats and blanket scarves away any time soon! 💨💨💨

Breakfast in bed anyone? I’m on my way to Paris this morning so it’s an early start and a @pret porridge for me but hopefully tomorrow the set up will be similar only with incredible Parisienne pastries. Our lovely shop is open as usual where you can browseour @elizabethscarlett collection. Have a great weekend!

There’s only one thing for today: lots of love and in my house, lots of cake because my eldest daughter turns 16 today! No idea how that’s even possible but there you go. If you need me I’ll be an emotional wreck for the rest of the day because this birthday feels like a big deal. . We’ll be open until 7pm tonight for last minute flowers and gifts and don’t forget that you don’t need someone else to treat you to something nice. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! 💗

I thought we were in for another bout of wild weather to day which got me thinking about ‘Wilderness’ the new bath and body range from @joinhandcrafted that we launched last month. . It’s an invigorating fragrance made with pure essential oils and packaged in fully recyclable amber bottles. The fact that it’s inspired by the Cornish coast makes me love it even more.
