Tanguito Description
We teach with an original technique, using modern teaching tools to produce happy, shiny, dancy people. We want our students to enjoy tango and we'll do everything we can to make you feel at home.
Ok, so what is tango apart from a fizzy, orange drink?
In short, tango is: a dance of South American origin, danced by couples in a social setting. In long, it is emotional, poetic, disciplined, physical, unpredictable, addictive, passionate, authentic, spiritual and that's only the short of the long of it. So, if you're looking for something involving with a ton of character and loads to offer, Argentine tango is for you.
Tango attracts a whole melting pot of people, some who look like they were bred for it and some who might come as a pleasant surprise: so don't fret if you don't look like you're straight out of Buenos Aires. And, if you feel you have as much natural flair as Silvio Berlusconi has trouser control, that's fine too. Everyone's got to start somewhere. And starting is fun!

WAIT!! Isn't the embrace a set, something like a cast, everything moving together as one? In some situations it is very useful to understand which part of the embrace is working more, or earlier. With this, you can add clarity to your lead and response to the le...ad. Prepare to be challenged!
So come along and learn all the secrets behind why and when to activate the left part of the embrace. After all, with the embrace being the most important element in tango, it's only natural to focus on its defining parts!

Tonight Wednesday 15/01 at Tanguito: we will embark in a journey that will lift your spirits. You will fly during the lessons and practica, metaphorically (and for a little bit physically too, but don't worry, your feet won't leave the ground too much)! The technique of lifting in the abrazo is a very interesting one, that is at the heart of many subtle leads. TONIGHT 04.12: there are times when things need to be compact. For sardines, for example. Or in the tube.
But tonight, we will actually enjoy the experience, and learn how to manage a crowded dancefloor.
We will cover the different available techniques to stay safe (and keep our partner safe) at a crowded milonga, whilst still enjoying a rich experience. Challenging yes, crowded, perhaps, but 100% brilliant. After all, we live in this big city of London, so crowds should be... friendly and well managed!
Part of our SIZE series: from XXS to XXL, make your tango shine in the most extreme of circumstances!
