Tawny Phillips Jewellery Description
My jewellery studio is situated in the SE1 postcode and very easy to access from local tube and railway stations. The studio is not open to the public but by appointment only. please contact me to make an appointment. I can design with you, or for you a piece of jewellery /ring for any occasion. All rings and jewellery is made by hand by me. You only deal with me throughout the process. A wedding or engagement ring can be designed and handcrafted in about 3 weeks in most cases.
I can also up-cyle or recycle jewellery you no longer wear or incorporate gemstones from heirlooms that do not suit your style. It's a great way of having an item of jewellery that you have an emotional connection to made into something you would feel comfortable to wear.
You can be assured of warm welcome and and an informal, relaxed appointment. I like to make having a bespoke ring or a piece of custom jewellery designed an amazing memory. I personally make all items by hand.

Here we have a very beautiful large Australian boulder opal set in 18 carat gold. Opal’s name originates from the Greek work ‘Opallios’ meaning ‘change in colour’ Opals are the birthstone for people born in October (Libra/Scopio star signs) Opals are said to impart confidence and creativity and have been worn throughout time to protect against negativity and to bring good luck Australian boulder opal is a very beautiful form of opal with veins of pure rainbow opal trapped in ...a matrix of ironstone. This makes it a strong, durable opal as opals are by nature delicate. Opal only measures 5.5 on the Moh scale which shows it is a soft and should be treated with care so it’s wise to enclose it in a solid precious metal setting for protection
