Our first Vegan afternoon tea at Tea Amo was a hit with our wonderful customers today. Even had vegan chocolate cake and vegan scones, yummy! ŌØżŌØżŌØż

’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐ĮToday I visited Tea Amo with my children and friends. Beautiful tea shop, filling sandwiches, great cake and a lovely cup of tea. It was busy but the service was great. Yesterday was the second time I have visited tea amo, it was really lovely the food was fabulous and the staff very friendly nothing was too much trouble. We have tried other places for afternoon tea but have found this really is the best! Well done and thank you very much Tea amo we will be back!

Visited with our 3 year old boy who loved that he was served his juice in a miniature tea-pot and cup and saucer. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff really welcoming . It's the little touches that make Tea amo really special, like the blankets and hot water bottles if you want to sit outside or the toys for the kids to play with while you relax and enjoy the scrumptious cake.

Very very child friendly!! Couldn't believe it when they came out with a toy tea set for my little girl to play with aswell - absolutely lovely and so so welcoming, great coffee and super tasty cake! What a little gem to have in our town - fully recommend Ōś║’ĖÅ

The biggest cream tea I have ever had, lovely place apart from the screaming child sitting behind us, but that is not the fault of the tea room. Loved the cups, saucers, plates and jugs, all pretty and delicate adding to the shabby chic look of the place. Great place to have a cuppa!

Thank you to the lovely ladies in Tea Amo who made my son some beans on toast (even though it wasn't on the menu) and to Molly for the tips on chocolate cake! A beautiful little tea room with wonderful service and even better cakes! X

Tea shop down a quiet little street. You can't help but fall in love. We had afternoon tea for two for my birthday (they added candles to the scones :)) Very yummy and you get to choose your own cake (from the fresh selection). Do go visit!

Really nice tea shop with a large menu of drinks and food. Outside seating available and good service too. Will visit again.

Popped in and had an afternoon tea today (wednesday) ... Absolutely perfect... wonderful staff .. superb food ...very very busy yet instantly clean tables and attend to customers .. we will definitely recommend and will revisit when in the area again.. many thanks ..

My wife and I visited for an afternoon tea having never been. I was impressed with the choice of teas and cakes and the service was prompt even though the cafe was very busy. Our afternoon came with sandwiches, cake and scones, all of which were delicious. I had the raspberry and white chocolate cake and was delighted with the huge slice size. The fruit scone was also very tasty served with jam and cream.

Overall we were very pleased with our afternoon and would highly recommend Tea Amo.

My husband and I were Married in Saffron Walden on the 1st of June and we had a wonderful afternoon tea with our family afterwards. The staff are lovely, cakes are absolutely delicious and home made. One of our guests is diabetic so we were concerned she would miss out but they made a cake especially for her! Our little girl even had her very own little China tea pot and cup and saucer with milkshake in, so everyone was well catered for.

It was the perfect end to our special day.

Me & my little boy have walked past this charming little tea shop lots of times and always Said we should go in... Today we did and we weren't disappointed!!

I ordered a cream tea for us which I have to say I think was very reasonable for the size of it.

I made the trip to Saffron Walton from Colchester especially to check out Tea Amo, after it was recommended by a friend. I took my Dad for a leisurely lunch and we were absolutely delighted with the choice.



My Dad drinks coffee and was very impressed with their black Americano. Whilst there I had a pot of Assam, one of English Breakfast and a mint hot chocolate. The teas were both loose leaf, infused brilliantly, served with non boiling water and in charmingly haphazard china. The mint hot chocolate was delicious, served with whipped cream and a nice amount of syrup, adding flavour without being overpoweringly sweet.



We both ordered the Club Sandwich on brown bread, Dee, the owner, warned us that it was a monster and she wasnŌĆÖt wrong! They arrived with thick, fresh bread - lovely freshly cooked egg, bacon and chicken. The ingredients were top quality and the side of crisps complimented it well. Genuinely the best club sandwich IŌĆÖve ever eaten!



After a little break we couldnŌĆÖt resist trying some of DeeŌĆÖs home made Ferraro Rocher cake. The portions were big and it was chocolatey and delicious!



We were there for a solid couple of hours and there was a healthy turnover of people in and out of the venue. Including families, couples and friends. The staff were friendly and attentive, as well as being efficient. The attention to detail and customer service was second to none, I saw one of the staff members walking outside with a try full of hot water bottles for the people sitting outside on the tables there. I also saw Dee heading outside with a tray full of tiny hot chocolates in tiny teapots for the kids... such a lovely and creative touch.



The inside of the venue was decorated in a charming fashion, the toilet was clean and well looked after, everything was delicious and fresh and the staff were a delight. It was also very reasonably priced - less than ┬Ż2.50 per pot of tea.



I will definitely return and would advise everyone to visit.



I couldnŌĆÖt resist buying some treats to take away with me, my friends loved the salted caramel brownies and home made mince pies!

Having not had chance to experience a ŌĆśproperŌĆÖ afternoon tea yet I booked this with friends for a catch up and a treat, it did not disappoint. The tea shop is so quaint and beautifully designed. We had reserved a table and were stuck in traffic so running late, I called and asked can they push the table and it was no trouble at all. Menus were ready on the table for choosing and though we changed our order a few times nothing was too much trouble.

Absolutely love Tea Amo, it really is a gem in Saffron Walden. Beautiful cakes, quality loose leaf tea, scrummy bacon sandwiches, and wonderful tea sets for children. A friendly and welcoming team, they easily and happily cater for everyone from children to those with food allergies.
