What number caravan would you have to stay in to get this view?

User

We have just spent 4 days with you and we had a great time! We were camping and sadly the weather wasn't the best most of the time but that didn't stop us enjoying every second of our trip.

The swimming pool was lovely and it was a huge plus that it was included in the price of our pitch as it meant we could go as many times as we wanted.

The showerblocks were clean, warm and well maintained.

The kids park had plenty for them to do and the sport court was a nice addition.

The evening entertainment was varied and of a good standard, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The site itself was stunning with beautiful sea views and lots of green space.

The pitch sizes were good, the only down side was there are no paths between pitches and toilet blocks and due to the layout of the pitches being in rows this meant that we had to weave our way through and around other people's pitches or walk the long way round. This was a very minor concern though and did not affect our enjoyment of our holiday at all.

The biggest asset to the park overall is your staff:

The receptionist when we arrived was very welcoming and friendly as were the other 2 when my children were asking them questions about the park cats for a scavenger hunt.

The swimming pool attendant was helpful and again very friendly.

The yellow coats were brilliant- chantel in particular took alot of time with the children both during the daytime activities and during the evening entertainment to make sure they were enjoying themselves.

The bar staff and kitchen went out of their way to assist me with my request for gluten free food- thank you Linda and Sally, and the other lady and gentlemen whose names I have forgotten (sorry!).

Once again thank you to everyone who played a part in helping us to have a fantastic holiday, we hope to be visiting again soon!

Me and my boyfriend went last weekend of April and had a really lovely time. Only paid £90 for three nights and only planned to stay for 2 because of the really bad reviews but wish we’d booked the time off so we could have stayed for 3 come the end of it. Our caravan was clean, tidy and fit for purpose, the club house was quiet (time of year) but was good to come back and have a drink in after going for diner in Looe or Polperro. Can’t fault it and we’ve booked to go back end of August.

User

Just back from our first stay at Tencreek can honestly say its the best campsite have stayed on. Big thankyou to all the staff that work so hard to keep the site clean and tidy , the bar staff, waiting staff, entertainment team and esp the two lovely ladies in the kitchen the food was amazing both evening meals and at the breakfast buffet a big thank you and well done from myself and my family for making our stay one to remember, will be coming again. I went camping with my partner in June to Tencreek. The site was very clean and had everything there that was needed.

I believe it had a recent refurb. The entertainment in the club at the weekend was fantastic and the food and drink was very reasonably priced as was the site fees.

The staff were very polite and always around to help.

The location was just perfect , right in between Looe and Polperro.

Before we left we booked again for next June.

Thank you for a lovely holiday.

User

I have just booked yet another holiday at tencreek, looking at photos I cannot wait... and neither can the kids! This will be our third time here at the park. The staff are fabulous. Keep up the good work guys!

User

got here Friday 6th July had to wait 4 caravan as paid 4 early booking got in caravan bit dirty mouldy curtains they changed the curtains clubhouse is good food very good only thing we think they need to do a lot more 4 kids as there's not much here 4 them to do but other than that was a really good weekend

User

We were lucky enough to win a short break at Tencreek, so from that perspective, we totally got our money's worth. We found the staff to be very friendly helpful across the board, although it was a shame that there were so many fag butts strewn all over our pitch.

The positives: It's an incredible location. We crammed in 5 beaches into the two full days we had and loved every one of them.

The pool was a nice resource as well for when we wanted to take things a little easier.

The evening entertainment was good, despite my son's hissy fit over never winning the bingo. My oldest daughter had an absolute blast dancing away to the live music and loved getting the autographs of the band. The Yellowcoats were very child oriented and a big hit with my four.

The showers were clean with reasonable water pressure.

The negatives: Well, there weren't many, which is why it's a four star review! We could have done without the loud Chas n Dave party in a nearby caravan on the Saturday night keeping us awake.

As I mentioned, our pitch was quite messy. It would have been nice if it had been cleaned before our arrival - it wouldn't take much to go round with a litter picker and as a non-smoker, I really don't enjoy dealing with smokers' detritus.

It would also have been good to have a little more support when my daughter's brace box went missing. I asked if we could put a little notice up in Castaways, which would have given us the best chance of finding it at a venue where time is of the essence before people leave and was told that this wouldn't be possible. There hasn't really been much help, with the result that we've lost some very-expensive-to-replace (but useless to anyone else) braces.

Nevertheless, we'll definitely come back again.

User

1st time visit.. Although on arrival got stuck on the grass between the caravans (no drive on ours) things did get better.. Great swimming pool and the caravan was clean and tidy. Entertainment was good for the little ones and the bingo kept adults entertained.. We even invited my in laws fir the night (Saturday) the enjoyed themselves and still lots of room in the caravan.. Great holiday for what we required.. Relax!

User

Our 2nd visit to tencreek as we had a great time and the kids entertainment is great we decided to return with our daughter and 1 year old son. Sadly we were let down by a dirty caravan which left my sons clothes black from crawling around. We spoke to management and 3 days into our stay said we could move caravans. We did so and things were better until i fell throught a rotten caravan step while entering the caravan, causing me to fall up the rest of the steps injuring my leg. Not what u want from a holiday. They quickly fixed the step but really didnt seem bothered about causing an injury. I didnt even recieve an apology. One positive though is the amazing yellowcoats and the kids entertainment which are brilliant.

User

Would never return.... the caravan was smelly dirty with mould. Windows that didn't close properly.... gas heater in lounge didn't work. Stains and rips in lounge chairs. Paid for wifi for 4 devices and it didn't work properly which was very frustrating. Had to complain about the disgusting behaviour of kids/teenagers banging and smacking the door and windows day and night as late as midnight. Pounding on a window that was just above my 7 year old sleeping. ÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹ

User

We've been coming down to Tencreek for YEARS! Usually I'd give it a straight 5 star, but this time I've come home quite disappointed... The caravan was dated, cold, broken shower head and had massive flies.... One of the kids got a flea bite! The entertainment team were a let down, one girl who had been serving food on the first night (taking food to the wrong table every time) "helped" with the Easter egg hunt by man handling kids, telling them off, to shut up, and had the personality of a wet tea spoon! There was VERY little for our teenagers to do, and the entertainment team didn't really bother with them. The board at the back of the stage was laughable, even the word dolphin was spelt wrong!? The late night disco was a bit of music while the Yellow coats stood at the doors watching people leave... We travel a long way 700+ miles round trip because we have loved coming there for long weekends and summer holidays. The highlight for my girls was seeing their favourite yellow coat Chelsea again, even though she doesn't work there anymore she made more effort to speak to them, and sit with them than the people paid to do it! Sadly when we do return to Looe, it will be to a different site.

User

This is our 4th time at tencreek. The park is very small but my children seemed to enjoy there stay previously but this time was totally different. The whole feeling of the park felt different. The yellow coats seemed to be not really interested in the children and struggled getting the cround with them. I have been to plenty of holiday parks and the 1 thing you need is very good funstars to keep the children entertained and the audience with you and this will be why the hall ended up empty so early every night. Very big improvements needed if the park wants to succed. Mrs Williams

It was our first time at tencreek and would be our last which is a shame although it is a small site it’s a clean and pretty site but upon arrival the one receptionist was so rude and had no customer service skills what so ever .. and clearly was very stressed with her work which clearly showed ... we payed a little extra to upgrade our van but 2 days in we realise we are not in an upgraded van but the bottom grade . the caravan wasn’t the cleanest especially around the toilet floor and hall way and the blinds was broke in the bathroom and all bent and couldn’t be used .we brought it the receptionist attention when we seen the blind the day after to make sure we wasn’t going to be charged but again she was just rude... I didn’t mind about the mess as much as I gave it a quick clean myself .. we was given the wrong timetable for the pool ect which ment we kept missing the pool hours and when we went into the office on the second day the receptionist was rude again but did say sorry but it was obvious she couldn’t careless.. when my toddler was smiling and waving and saying bye she didn’t even respond just turned her nose up and looked away ... there was nothing on for the children for the 3 days out of the 4 we are here .. for a children based site it’s not very child friendly on a plus the bar staff in castaways are polite and the views from the site are lush x

Disappointed to say the least. We came last summer and thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent yellow coats, clean and tidy caravans an all round enjoyable experience. We booked this holiday on the strength of last year only to find a dirty caravan awful entertainment and lifeguards on mobile phones instead of watching the pool. We left today (Thursday ) one day before the end of our holiday. Watching the poor excuse for entertainment last night was the last straw for us. One of the yellow coats was singing and by the fourth song had nearly cleared the bar all but 10 people left. The bar staff agreed with me that it's awful. Earlier in the day we had a swim and were shocked to see the lifeguards on their mobile phones instead of watching the pool. This is obviously a safety issue and a privacy issue as they should not have camera phones anywhere near children in swimming costumes. Hopefully Tencreek won't take my comments down as they have my partners.

The staff were very polite and always around to help.

The location was just perfect , right in between Looe and Polperro.

Before we left we booked again for next June.

Thank you for a lovely holiday.

User

got here Friday 6th July had to wait 4 caravan as paid 4 early booking got in caravan bit dirty mouldy curtains they changed the curtains clubhouse is good food very good only thing we think they need to do a lot more 4 kids as there's not much here 4 them to do but other than that was a really good weekend

Relax!

Visited in August and was shocked at how dirty the caravan was,the windows wouldn't shut properly and let a horrible draught in,the furniture was old with bits missing and the cushions were ripped not to mention the kids running around screaming shouting and banging on the caravan windows until very late at night, the only good things were the views and it's a good place to use as a base to explore the area
