Thank you to bridge village hall for having us.

User

Steve is giving a talk on his favourite subject, himself and the barge here at the village hall in Bridge, just outside Canterbury

Our queen Ludo is 10 today !! #happybirthday I hope she has made some of your trips on the barge that little bit brighter, and of course she's got many a year left to announce our entrance back in to #whitsableharbour in the summertime 🌊🐢🌊

Goodbye Whitstable, till summer 2019!! Thank you everyone for an amazing sailing season !! ... We're now off to our winter home at Faversham, Steve could always do with a hand over the winter months fixing her up, if you fancy volunteering here and there, don't hesitate to contact us πŸ˜‰

What an amazing video from Litchfield's Lifestyles , it's always lovely to see people's trips, we're glad the weather held out just long enough for you to see the forts.

We were on The Greta on Thursday 28th. September -just a wonderful day out -Steve -the skipper and his first mate Sean could not have been better -we were looked after so well and with the good weather we had it was a most interesting trip !! Thanks Steve from all who were with Colin Timms .

The most amazing birthday trip out on Greta to the forts.

Would highly recommend

User

Thanks Steve, we had a great time aboard Greta. Even though it was a bit chilly, we would do it again - getting away from it all and getting up close to the forts.. It has to be one of the best ways to spend 6 hours in Whitstable.

Stunning way to spend a day, we booked a private cruise and it was worth every moment! No better way to see the Thames Estuary, especially when powered purely by the wind..... so serene.

Steve and Dom were top class hosts too, and the dog’s provided loads of entertainment chasing off all the pesky speedboats.

So privileged to have the opportunity to be able to be on board this wonderful vessel of the sea. Skipper makes you feel completely at home and makes numerous cups of tea and coffee throughout the voyage and is so knowledgeable without being boastful. I highly recommend it for stress busting and for seeing the coast line and local places of offshore interest close up.

Wonderful memories of our day and being under sail on such an awesome vessel οΏ½

Sailed several times with Steve and his crew on Greta, great memories and experience... Recommended and to see the Mansell Towers at 'Red Sands' the 'Peregrine Falcons' that reside there and the Seals on the sand banks... Wonderful!

My husband and I had a wonderful time, we were staying in Herne Bay for a week and had tried all week to get on a boat trip but everywhere was fully booked. Luckily for us someone cancelled and Steve called us back to let us know. Every one was very friendly and even brought us tea and coffee all day. The sights were amazing and the trip was well worth the price. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of booking.

Incredible trip with Steve and Penni last Sunday! We were a group of 12 and were so welcome on board :) we sailed out to the Red Sands Forts which were as spooky, beautiful and impressive as we hoped. Highly recommended, a trip on the Greta will make your time in Whitstable unforgettable!

I would say this, he's my dad and that's my home.

But seriously though, it's the most relaxing way to spend the day, clear your mind and disconnect (that's if you're not responsible for the social media updates for the day, but that's normal reserved for his daughters)

User

Great day yesterday out to the Red Sand Forts and through the wind farm and down to Herne Bay Pier. Totally relaxing day with great views and Steve makes a great brew. Friendly welcome from the 3 dogs on board, you can get stuck in and steer the boat or assist with the sails or just kick back and relax.

Lovely Barge, lovely trip with lovely people. A great way to spend the day.
