We were there yesterday , had a nice time , our meals were good , only complaint was they messed our daughter dinner up and the rump steak was tough to eat , she originally ordered the philly steak and was served the rump steak 🥩 instead , we would definitely come back but will not order any steak meals

We enjoyed our quick visit to the pub but there was only one poor guy on duty. He did a great job serving, clearing and keeping everything moving but they need more staff!!

The staff were lovely, food was very disappointing. We ordered 4 roasts lunches. 3 chicken 1 beef. I’m asked for my gravy on the side which it was.. � however both meals were cold. Not even warm.

We send them both back. The other 2 plates came out which were like warm. We waited a little bit for the two plates and the waiter said they were being re cooked. Perfect I thought. Mine came back with gravy all over it not on the side which I asked.

It was soo hot it appeared to have been microwaved. The chicken although on the bone was dry..

We were all dissappinted, however I had to go so we all politely ate our roasts and i left.

Other meals came out of the kitchen and all looked great. Maybe the roasts were just a bad call. Either way, I won’t be going back which is a shame as my work local.

We visited here previously last year and had a fantastic lunch, so thought we would call back as we were back in the area.



I wish we didn’t, very disappointed with everything, from the lack of the flowers outside on the various storeys (which is what attracted us their on our first visit, to the presentation of the food, and don’t ask about the quality of it.



The groupings were Mis-Shapen and greasy. There was no butter on my bread and butter, and the eggs were burned underneath. My fiancée had to leave her lasagne as she physically couldn’t eat it.



So different in only a year!
