The Anchor Parish

This time last year during Easter, the Singles Ministry gave shelter, support and survival packs to people experiencing homelessness and this year we took it a step further! We went back to where we started the journey to give back to a local charity The Manna Society

What a privilege it was to speak to the students at Windrush Primary School, Greenwich today about “Life as a Christian”.

Are you a parent of a teenage child and part of the many that wish their teenage child could just open up to you about things that bother them?
Do you wonder what they get up to whilst you are not watching? Who they are talking to and more importantly, do you listen to them or give them the opportunity to feel confident to have a chat with you without being judged.

This month’s edition features Stephen Addison, a former gang member turned boxing champion who travels the country with his powerful message for young people. Some members of our single's ministry attended the Mayor's Coffee Morning today at Charlton House & Gardens and also had some gifts to support the Mayor's chosen local charities.

The place of worship I wanna be all day and all night! They just love God and defend His affairs!

Joining The Anchor has offered me more opportunities to participate in leadership activities. The church is also a regular place to anchor and replenish my spiritual faith in God.

I joined The Anchor Parish November 2007 to be precise as a student, a part time carer and single of course (laughs).....Fast forward to May 2017, I am now an IT Consultant, married and with 2 kids! God has really been faithful to me and my family and blessed us beyond measures and human comprehension

I have never regretted being in Anchor, I found peace, joy, love and I have never been more at home! My life has not remained the same since I joined.
