A night of stand-up comedy and song with a free-speech vibe. This shows incredible line-up will be:
Vanity von Glow - Our very own internationally abhorred superstar. Once banned across the UK, they couldn't shut her up, so she's back!
... Dominic Frisby - A libertarian with a mandolin is better than Father Christmas
Ria Lina - Fearless, provocative and says things that others simply can't get away with.
Will Franken - Takes everything to the limit and slightly beyond Paula Wright - Sexy isn't sexist
White Jesus - In the form of Jay Handley
Isa Bonachera - Spanish and quite lazy (though the two are un-connected)
Chloe Petts - Dead hard
Joleed Farah - Not your average second-generation Somali comic
Bar & kitchen opens at 6.00, doors open at 7.00. Show starts 7.30pm.

Made from hundreds of hours of unseen material from his personal archive, director Michael Cumming’s film shares insights into the process of making the legendary TV series Brass Eye. Michael directed both of the pilots and the series and, over a two year period, witnessed the highs and lows of Brass Eye from a very personal perspective.
Part documentary, part artwork – the film is designed solely for live screenings and is made up almost entirely of never before seen footag...e. Oxide Ghosts carries the blessing of Chris Morris and provides a rare glimpse of his extraordinary working practices.
Michael Cumming is a director and filmmaker, successfully working at the cutting edge since the ‘90s. A graduate of the Royal College of Art Film School and recent recipient of an honorary doctorate, Dr Cumming’s back catalogue also contains such gems as Jo Brand’s improvised comedy drama ‘Going Forward’, cult classic ‘Snuff Box’, political pranks and polemics on ‘The Mark Thomas Product’, The Mark Steel Lectures and Matt Berry’s BAFTA winning sitcom, ‘Toast Of London’.
Michael will be doing a Q&A after the film – spilling beans, shattering myths and letting a few cats out of the bag. Celebrating the 21st birthday of Brass Eye, this film & Q&A sessions are a must for fans of the series but will appeal to anyone with a curiosity about how great comedy is made.
'[Oxide Ghosts] offers a well-judged and very rare insight into [Brass Eye’s] making, encapsulating the fun and covert excitement that went on while the project was still under wraps, before all the legal wrangling kicked in. If you're an admirer of the show and the opportunity should arise for you to see Oxide Ghosts, have some self re-cocking-spect and do so without hesitation' - Chortle

Wish the good menu was a little healthier though

Great acts the night we went

User

What a great night 5 great comics will definitely be back.

User

We went on the Thursday Try-Out night. I didn't hold high expectations. But oh my! What a show! What an evening. I haven't laughed so much in a long time. There were nine acts and the show's host. All of them extremely talented and really good at what they do. Tremendous value for money, great surrounds and friendly staff that really look after you. I'll certainly be going there again. Well done everyone there.

User

We love this club and are regulars now with Never Ending Tickets. Always a good mix of comedians. Lee Hurst often puts in an appearance if he is in the area. Sometimes compere, sometimes as an act, often unannounced. Food is good and reasonably priced. Bar is well stocked, and again not overpriced.

There are always offers on for tickets, and the general admission price is low anyway. Give it a go, well worth a visit.

The best chipotle sauce in London!

User

Fabulous night at Backyard Comedy Club last night. All three comedians were brilliant. I literally cried with laughter which was a bit embarrassing as it ruined my make up. Can’t wait to go back!!! Xxx

User

Brilliant night at Backyard comedy club last night with Comedy unleashed! Great venue..Great acts lovely friendly staff. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you all for your support for Target Ovarian Cancer too!

User

Bin coming for donkeys years love love love it still laughing over last nights show Marlon and Robert you guys smashed it.. see you again soon backyard

User

Best Comedy Club in London. It's the only repeat place in London me and my girlfriend regularly go to. Never a disappointing evening. Amazing wedges and great beer too. All comedians are professional and you often see a star in the making where a few weeks down the line they appear on TV. Or the other way round as we saw Russell Howard this week for £5 in an intimate surrounding. Can't say better than that. Fully encourage everyone to visit this venue.

User

Been here twice, great comedy and love the pizza!! 👍

User

Been here a lot over the years - ever since it first opened. Love the place!!!

User

Apart from stupidly sitting at the front and getting the piss ripped out of us both, my fiancé and I had a fabulous time! The acts were hilarious and it was well worth the £12 we spent on tickets! £6 each booked online. Bar is reasonably priced for drinks. We would definitely go back again, maybe sitting at the back this time round... .

User

Always a great night out and so affordable. Some of the acts are very good some of the acts are great...never bad and always very very funny. Got to also say food good too. All in a great night and would recommend it to all.

User

Absolutely amazing venue... great value with great variety of comedians. Never had a bad night here.

User

Great venue....I loved the bar and laughed so much with the comedians! 👏👏👏

User

The Acts were hilarious & of celebrity standard not disappointing at all & for that reason will defo be back however, our night had a downer on it in the form of the ticket/security woman who clearly had a problem. Heaven forbid you could relate to a joke & dare to discuss it with your partner/friend between your laughter as she would be there in a flash telling you not to speak. Also don't dare to look at your phone or again there she is telling you put it away! (It was comical really) However it was fine for the couple seated in front to take pictures, film & have discussions across a table! Maybe she had a problem with us? All I know is we was made to feel like we couldn't speak or laugh out loud & act more serious at a COMEDY club!

User

Been coming here for years but this time was a bit of dissapointment. First comedian telling jokes from the 90's well heard before then the disastrous singing comedian at the end really spoilt it for us it was so dreary. Seemed the comedy suited a much older crowd. Usually have a good night here I'll be back again in hope it's much better next time.

User

They messed up the booking and refused to rectify. Aggressive and abusive when I complained. Avoid like the plague.

User

Good comedy but rudest staff ever. Arrived 40 minutes before the start of the show but still needed to pay a penalty for being late... no explanation!! woman at entrance genuinely unpleasant person... like watching comedy in nazi Germany!!!
