proper old fashioned pub - nothing contrived

Took shelter from the rain and had a quick drink. Didn't notice upstairs which looked good. Maybe next time we will try the food

Punk IPA is great and the food is very tasty too, nice atmosphere, could've stayed there all day (and stayed for half a day anyway haha)

Cute pub. Close to my hotel. Good beer but fish & chips... Not too impressed. I guess it's a chain restaurant so perhaps that explains that. But overall, nice place for a few pints of your in the neighborhood

Bar staff were miserable, and have no idea how to poor a pint of Guinness
