The Bench Cafe

Well The Bench Café finally closed it's doors today. We have to say a very big "THANK YOU" to all of our volunteers who have kept us going over the past 6 years. We couldn't have done it without you guys. We also want to thank our customers for their support & we hope you can find a suitable spot for a natter & a cuppa. We are proud of what we have achieved helping build confidence in people, training young people to cook nutritious meals, providing inexpensive or free meals for those in need & getting 4 apprentices through their qualifications. It is with much regret that we have to announce that the Bench Café will close for business on 22nd March 2019. Unfortunately the business can no longer financially sustain itself & it is getting harder to find funding to support our projects. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for their support over the years and also to wish all those who have joined our work experience courses a bright & happy future.
